here's the solution to the problem I was having earlier, and kudo's to hostgator for resolving it so quickly: I've fixed this for you. The script was using just a little over the memory_limit that was set in the master php.ini file. I've increased it just a little and it's now working. Let us know i...

Alrighty, Ive learned more since Ive posted. This is REALLY bizarre... I had forgotten I had another phpBB2.0.21 on the same server with the same topic calendar and no other mods (both are identical). I compared the two calendar.php files and they were identical. The other one works fine. I checked ...

Suddenly, since the migration, while logged in and while using Internet Explorer web browser, members ca...

Cybrid, I have notified them. They're never able to verify the problem. I did have a problem a couple weeks ago that they were able to verify. Here's that error: Warning: mysql_connect(): Host 'xx.xx.xxx.xx' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' in C:\xx...

chmod and mod question

#1) What should the chmod settings be for all the folders not required to be 777 per the installation instructions? #2) I think I saw a mod once, where the admin of a board could require a minimum number of forum posts before you were allowed to advertise your website in your profile. Could someone ...

When I shell in, I tell putty to go to forum.XXXXX.com, enter my u/n and p/w and thats where Ive been sticking those commands. Below is a copy and paste from puTTy...

Im trying to apply the patch for the attachment mod from 2.3.12-2.4.1 I FTPd the patch file into the phpBB2 folder in my site (ie http://www.myforum.com/phpBB2/). I have verified its there. I downloaded puTTy, and successfully SSH'd into my apache linux server. I attempt to run the command line: pat...
