Re: Excessive Resource Usage help needed

I sent Hostpapa and email last night and told them that they needed to send us their logs because the person helping me checked everything and he didn't find any issues. I told them they needed to prove what they are seeing because we are not seeing anything to create the excessive resource usage. I...

Re: Excessive Resource Usage help needed

Here are some of the things Hostpapa said may be the cause: Some of the most common things that could lead your account to experience a high usage of resources can be: Increase or surge in website traffic, Malfunctioning scripts, An excessive amount of plugins or intensive Cron jobs, Web bots and/o...

Re: Excessive Resource Usage help needed

Yes, it's from August 1 - August 5. The image I posted is only showing a part of it. Check again, Aug 6th will now be listed. If you just got the email perhaps there was spike in traffic on the 6th. Also there should be drop down on the top of page to switch the month, check if July is inline with ...

Re: Excessive Resource Usage help needed

It is not unheard of for hosts to use this tactic in an attempt to get you to upgrade your hosting package. Just had a quick look at Hostpapa and they do appear to offer a lot of resources for little cost - that is not to say that there is anything wrong with what they offer but I always keep the m...

Re: Excessive Resource Usage help needed

That is what you are looking for, there should be date at top. Presumably that is from Aug 1 to today? That's small amount of traffic. There should be drop down on the top to select month, what does last months look like? Yes, it's from August 1 - August 5. The image I posted is only showing a part...

Re: Need to refresh to see current posts after 3.2.5 update SOLVED

It's been almost a year since I posted this...but my forum has finally been completely fixed. The cause was an autoupdate on a hopelessly messed up 3.2.4 with 3.0.x files and code. AFAIR it was also originally a host install, so I have no idea how it managed to work all that time, but once it broke,...

Re: Need to refresh to see current posts after 3.2.5 update

Right now I am waiting on answers from someone else euhh yeah  that someone else's brain was in coma-mode and managed to lock himself out of the board (and perhaps you too) Up to now the test board shows the same symptoms as the live board. The "Home", and the "Board ind...

Re: Need to refresh to see current posts after 3.2.5 update

I just enabled a notice for cookies. Sorry but I don't understand what you mean by that I thought what you meant was you went to my forum and didn't see the notice that shows that cookies are enabled on my forum. So I enabled that notice to show. I guess I didn't understand what you meant. Thanks f...

Re: Need to refresh to see current posts after 3.2.5 update

Is your test board on the same server as your production board? If it is and you are having the same problem on both then it could point to a server set up problem - especially with this I can't find any cookie set though. Yes it is. I also have another forum and it's having the same issue after th...

Re: Need to refresh to see current posts after 3.2.5 update

Just a thought... I have a testboard that is doing the same thing. I wonder if you could check that out with permissions set for you to see what you need to see through ACP. It doesn't matter if that board gets crashed because there isn't much on it as I just use it for testing things. OK, a bit bu...

Re: Need to refresh to see current posts after 3.2.5 update

When LP restored back to 3.2.4 the first time the forum ran as normal... no issues. Do you still have that exact backup, or only the backup of the second 3.2.4 restore they did? Also (just random thoughts now) is it a possibility that your certificate was removed and not restored, is outdated, or c...

It does sound like a cookie-problem (although from what I read, that seems OK).
Check the ACP and report the php-version please.
PHP 5.6.39
Board Version 3.2.4

Thanks!
