Re: [3.1][3.2][RC] Glossary 2.1.0

Thanks a lot to Kasimi for pointing the cause. I'll try to cure the other points before leaving. Edit: I can't do it just now. On the other hand, the former version (see on github) works for months and years on my board. 2nd edit: if you click the glossary link a second time, it works and the three ...

Migration error message

Hello, The current version of my glossary extension works fine when already installed and updated, but not when installed from scratch. The error message is: A migration is invalid. An unknown migration tool type was encountered. Before that, I get following warnings: [phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in fi...

Re: [3.1][3.2][RC] Glossary 2.1.0

This error message (1st one) was also reported by one of the testers in the validation process.
I could not yet find the reason.
I don't have any time free for now. I'll try to fix the matter in a couple of weeks.

Re: How to using "upload class" in PHPBB 3.2.2

My glossary extension (still in development) uses a minimal uploading feature.
Have a look at the file core/glossedit.php. Github repo: https://github.com/pierrdu/lmdi_gloss.

Re: Edit existing FAQ for 3.2

The difficult thing is to add entries in the blocks.

Re: More information in activation email

If you have a minimum knowledge of php, beware that you'll have to redo the change for each next version.
I don't have the time to make a real extension.

Re: More information in activation email

Have a look in the code. Its evident. You need to extract more from the data array and to build the location item with the query.
It has nothing to do with the dutch or french version.

Re: More information in activation email

I did this on my board: File language/fr/email/admin_activate.txt E-Mail: {USER_EMAIL} Adresse IP: {USER_IP} Localisation: {USER_LOCATION} File phpbb/notification/type/admin_activate_user.php Added lines: 135 - $data = $this->user_loader->get_user($this->item_id); 136 & ss. // Querying the localisat...

Re: Microsoft buys Github

I think that MS needs Github and didn't want that somebody could put his hands on such a strategical tool.

One should consider that all MS code now takes the form of deposits, not necessarily public.

Re: It's not possible to bulk delete posts containing a keyword, right?

I would rather use

Code: Select all

UPDATE phpbb_posts SET post_text = 'Message text deleted' where post_text LIKE '%some_string%'

Re: Why is there no canonical URL in the search results pages?

I'm the author of this extension (indexing extension) which piggybacks another extension (topic tags).
I just wanted to know what is the situation and why.
I already added a canonical URL in the head of those pages. This is not really difficult.

Thanks anyway for answering.
