Re: [DEV] PBTech

I love it! I tested it today on a copy of my live forum (but running on 3.1 RC3) and it was absolutely fantastic. The only issue I encountered is that everything (from fonts to buttons) becomes abnormally big and disproportional when using Google Chrome 37. With Firefox, on the other hand, the style...

One-side avatars (or others)

Hello! This is sort of a foolish idea and not really that useful, but I thought it could come handy in some situations and also be kinda fun. The idea is a mod that permits you to select an avatar that you see and another one that other members see. Even perhaps the possibility of a list, selecting ...

Re: Alt + Shift + S on OS X

Nothing wrong with that. It's just faster and more comfortable to use a shortcut. It isn't a core feature by any means, it's just an interesting additional. Our community has a very fast paced dynamic, with discussions flowing fast using quick posts. Many users just loved when someone discovered Alt...

Alt + Shift + S on OS X

Hello, One of the things I like most when using phpBB on Windows/Linux is the fact that on Chrome and Firefox (don't know about Internet Explorer, Opera and Safari) a simple Alt + Shift + S can be used to post what you're writing. I've researched for some time how to do the same on OS X. The answer ...

Re: [DEV] Enhanced phpBB friends system

You said ignore foed totally?
Oh dear, my dreams are about to come true!

This mod has lots of potential. I'm looking for a solution to treat annoying users without deleting them for quite a time!

Re: Advanced User Ignore MOD

Thanks for your reply. On a regular case, i'm absolutely sure that you're right. The problem with the community I manage is that it is quite glued together. Those annoying users behave badly on most parts of the forum, but they are cherished and, as far I can see, important among other parts of the ...

Advanced User Ignore MOD

I've been searching for this for quite a while and yet was unable to find. Due to the nature of my forum, we do not ban users due their, how to say... lack of popularity. Some people are plainly annoying, yet they have the right to be there. And as we have a large amount of messages, sometimes its a...

Masked Ball

Hello chaps, how you're doing? Well, one of my users had the idea of making a masked ball on our forum. It's basicly an addon that mixes user names and avatars, so no one know who you are as long the addon is activated. The other users seemed to be extremely amused by the idea of such an event, howe...
