Re: new domain-want to point to phpBB3 forum install in subd

Depending upon your hosting arrangement you might be able to set an auto-redirect with your host. I used this method on my board, I'm using DataFlame as host and have CPanel - in CPanel there is a re-direct function. I found this to be an easy solution but of course, it relies on having the option w...

Re: [RC] cBB Follower 1.0.1

A quick question, I'm using another mod that makes use of Jquery (primetime)- so far I have not noticed any mod conflicts arising but just in case, can you tell me where the include jquery is in the Follower mod? I've searched through the files but I didn't find it anywhere yet. The Mod includes th...

Re: help needed with common.css amendments

Thanks for taking a look.
Interesting that the global css reset is being ignored, I'll try adding it at the end again as you suggest.

Ref the links issue, I was beginning to think that might be the cause of the trouble myself, I'll look into menu options as alternatives.

Thanks

help needed with common.css amendments

I have what is most likely a very simple problem to solve. I have a number of mods that add links to the navbar - all mods work fine, that's not the issue. The problem is easiest to describe by using pictures - refer image one (logged out condition) and you can see the buttons all line up properly a...

Re: lots of errors on server log: file does not exist fix_ie

Just for info in case anyone else notices error logs with Kiss and IE 10, it is due to a missing css file.
Temporary solution at this stage is to create a blank css file called fix_ie_10.css and load it up. This stops the errors - this is as advised by Mike at Kiss and it works fine.

Re: lots of errors on server log: file does not exist fix_ie

The reference is created in /styles/_portal_common/template/portal_scripts.html : $css_file_append = 'fix_ie_' + ieversion + '.css'; ...so it's most probably Kiss II Portal or you forgot to copy relevant files. Whoops, I was writing my post above just as you were posting but you're right, it's the ...

Re: lots of errors on server log: file does not exist fix_ie

This appears to be related to the Kiss II Portal mod (and the Highslide mod). I have the latest update of Kiss installed, checking the folders for that mod reveals files with a similar name i.e. fix_ie_7.css; fix_ie_8.css and fix_ie_9.css so logic indicates that my apparently missing file should be ...

Re: lots of errors on server log: file does not exist fix_ie

(I know, I'm a newbie and should stop guessing) Newbie and you go installing twenty odd MODs? I know, I modded the heck out of it, total overkill but some of it was just for fun and experimenting.... My newbie status reflects the fact that I don't know too much about coding but hey, we've each got ...

Re: lots of errors on server log: file does not exist fix_ie

My searching around on this subject didn't turn up much, the only references I could find to Fix_IE_10.css seem to be in connection with fixing incorrect display issues on Windows 8 phones. Here's an article I found (just FYI): http://mattstow.com/responsive-design-in-ie10-on-windows-phone-8.html I'...

lots of errors on server log: file does not exist fix_ie_10.

Over the last couple of days I've been getting a stack of error messages logged on my Cpanel error log. They read as follows: [Mon Feb 25 21:37:19 2013] [error] [client 95.172.230.7] File does not exist: /home/lkssvorm/public_html/404.shtml, referer: http://www.themarino.co.uk/forum/ucp.php?i=173 [M...

Re: [RC] Blog / Knowledge Base MOD 1.0.0 SOLVED

A useful mod, I would like to make use of this as a KB for my board. Took me a few minutes to work out how to operate it but I like it a lot. One quick question, how can I change the Button name from blog to a name of my choosing? (I've already made the changes in blog.php, permissions_blog.php and ...
