[split from] phpBB 3.1 styles

Where can PHPbb 3.1 style templates be found?

I would like to install some as I am remaking my forum and what to get a feel for what will be happening and any extensions that I might need. By The Way: where can extensions be found also?

Thanks in Advance!

Re: SubSilver2 vs ProSilver

As 3.1 is just 'around the corner' I'd be inclined to wait and go for that version instead when it goes gold. The modifications (now called extensions) are very different in 3.1 and don't require code edits. Thanx, I think that would be a good thing to do. Changing all this is hard enough without h...

SubSilver2 vs ProSilver

I have a 304 board that I spent years making, that was made with Subsilver2 and it's mods. I'm looking to update to the most current version of PHPbb3 and remove all old mods and just keep the posts and start over with new modifications as needed. What I am wondering is how to tell what version/styl...

Thanks MUCH!!!

Re: Heavily Modded 304 to current version

By The Way.... use FETCH for Mac as that seems to work well for me on my Mac. I have used Filezilla but don't like the interface as well.

Re: Heavily Modded 304 to current version

I will still have a lot of database tables that are for old mods I don't need any more. These might interfere with the new revised up =to=date mods that I want to use. How do I know which ones to delete as some of the mods I now have I want to add back the current versions.

Heavily Modded 304 to current version

I have a heavily modified PHPbb 304 that I would like to be able to remove all the mods and start it over with a new current version. However I would have to keep the posts (at least) and maybe a few other things like sub forums. I can then add the new versions of the current mods I want to still ke...

Re: Install.xml will not open on Mac

You will probably start to see more mac users come out and confirm the problem now there is a thread about it I'm sure that if it was that big a problem there would already be hundreds of topics (not threads) on the subject stretching back to 3.0.0. As far as I'm aware XML is compatible with both M...

Re: Install.xml will not open on Mac

It has NOT been too helpful asking here but I found that if you open the file in a text editor and change the header to: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="modx.prosilver.en.xsl"?> it then seems to work ok Apparently the moderators here wants to keep thinki...

Re: Install.xml will not open on Mac

Dragging all the others to Safari opens them

Clicking then opens Xcode as it should

In Safari files will open when dragged to the application icon or it's dock icon or alias icon

Re: Install.xml will not open on Mac

Well...many of my recently downloaded mods open as a blank page. It's not worth repeating this over and over so I suppose that I will just have to continue to revise the header code as I first mentioned to get them to read in a viewable format.
