Need a text file include to refresh from file every time

I have a small text file that is updated every 10 minutes and written to a directory on my server. The file is just a simple line of text with some minor html formatting codes in it. I am trying to include it as part of the overall_header.html template file to display at the top of the page. Using t...

Re: [Beta] phpBB Calendar 0.1.1 (alightner)

We got a fix up and running to the issue we were having. In the process of testing it out still but it seems promising. Essentially there was no check for having the "Can create/edit events for groups that they do not belong to" configured, meaning that even though you have this set to yes, you stil...

Re: [Beta] phpBB Calendar 0.1.1 (alightner)

@Joshua203 Oops.. my bad. I was trying to work and skim this at the same time and looked at the subject instead of poster name. Fixed now! Also, I tried your suggestion. It didn't seem to make a difference. Poking around at the code, I think it is pretty specific that you have to be a member of the ...

Re: [Beta] phpBB Calendar 0.1.1 (alightner)

@Joshua203 Yep! Got that box checked too. It seems like when the acl settings are checked for group membership, you have to be an explicit member of that forum group to see a calendar event created as a private group event. I was hoping that the phpbb built in Administrators group members would just...

Re: [Beta] phpBB Calendar 0.1.1 (alightner)

As far as I can tell, these users are added correctly. I created a test event for that group with the administrator account. I then tried to see the event with another account. As a normal user, that account could not see the event. As a forum administrator (using the built-in Administrators group),...

Re: [Beta] phpBB Calendar 0.1.1 (alightner)

Just to add to this, while logged in as a forum administrator, I could see all forum groups in the drop down list when creating a private group calendar event. I went ahead and created the private event for a specific forum group. I could see the event as the administrator that created it and I coul...

Re: [Beta] phpBB Calendar 0.1.1 (alightner)

Yep! I just checked under users and groups, group permissions for the "Administrators" group. User permissions for calendar tab are set to yes for everything except "Can create events with outside guests allowed" global moderator permissions are set to yes for everything except "Can edit responses c...

Re: [Beta] phpBB Calendar 0.1.1 (alightner)

We are currently using the calendar on our forum which is very awesome btw. We have a large number of private groups in use on the forum. As a member of the forum administrator group, which has all of the calendar permissions enabled for the group, should I be able to see all group events on the cal...
