Re: [RC][1.1.0-r2] FIND

I think the link in the first post here is wrong. I went to the github directly and got the most recent version, ran the upgrade path and all the associated files in /contrib, and after manually checking the edits were all good starting up again. Server side I did switch over to php 5.4 as well. Eve...

Re: [RC][1.1.0-r2] FIND

Thanks for your response. I've tried to change the encoding via phpmyadmin and have had no luck in effecting the error message. This is due to my own inexperience, I believe, though. I'm going to keep reading on the subject to see if there something i'm missing and I'll report back once I get a succ...

Re: [RC][1.1.0-r2] FIND

After installing this mod, the first few feeds are working fine. A few are giving me some SQL errors. SQL ERROR [ mysqli ] Incorrect string value: '\x80\x9CYou ...' for column 'post_text' at row 1 [1366] Here are some of the feeds providing this error on import. http://ghosttraingames.com/feed/ http...

Re: [BETA] Dicemod

mrpaulie, did you follow the instructions in the install file for the manual edits?

I got this mod to run on fairly quickly (0.8.8b and 3.0.11) without any errors like that.

Re: Restore lost forum [Given up]

https://www.phpbb.com/kb/article/recover-a-deleted-topic/ You can use the steps described in this article to get the sql data and than import it back to the database using phpmyadmin. You would just have to add the additional steps to include phpbb_forums, etc. Edit: Caveat - this will take a long t...

Re: [BETA] Dicemod

Mr. Brooks can you post how you made that change? I'm interested in implementing it.

Also, if anyone knows how, can someone explain how to enable the dice mod in a post's preview?

-and/or-

how to get it to work in Mchat?

Need help with possible jquery confliction? (prosilver)

Hello all, I'm currently working on my site's forum (http://darkreign.org/forum/) and I ran into a bit of a snag while trying to implement collapsing categories. I first tried the method shown http://www.christianbullock.com/2011/phpbb-collapsible-categories-with-cookies but it didn't work. Later, I...
