Re: Location on registration

There is already a field in phpBB for the location, if you add a custom field as well, you end up with two of the same name, I know, I tried that already.

This mod works well.

Re: Location on registration

Now I feel like a total idiot...

You are right, I rechecked what you are saying and you are correct, you already have that, what happened was that I put the first insert in the wrong place... DOH!

I should have known better !

Your MOD works perfectly in that case...

Re: Location on registration

That is correct, you also need to find the bit of code I posted above as well, and add the other bit of code I posted before, your install is correct, but it just misses a single insert which allows it to handle the registration properly if it failed, and re-displays the page for correction, so the ...

Re: Location on registration

It is not the same one, there is a second one... The first edit in the install is (around line 109): 'tz' => request_var('tz', (float) $config['board_timezone']), The one I have pointed out is (around line 173): 'tz' => request_var('tz', (float) $timezone), The one I have pointed out is needed when ...

Re: Location on registration

I found that you were missing a bit of code... You also need to do the following in includes/ucp/ucp_register.php: FIND (around line 173): 'tz' => request_var('tz', (float) $timezone), ADD: 'location' => request_var('location', ''), // Required this addition to remember data on failed reg attempt fo...

Re: [2.0.15] Add "Full Name" to Profile

I have not had the time to do any further work on this MOD (or any of my other ones) to keep them up to date with the changes in phpBB. I have read that some users have updated the code themselves to correctly enable the MOD for the current version of phpBB, can someone who has successfully updated ...

Re: [2.0.15] Add "Full Name" to Profile

Hey now that you're back can you provide me with a way to make the full names on the profile admin and moderator viewable only? The part of the code that you need to have switching for moderator level user only is located here: usercp_viewprofile.php The code that needs to be switched to hide/show ...

Re: [2.0.15] Add "Full Name" to Profile

In the ACP a panel is setup for the mod, you can set whether the first and last name are veiwable in the profile. If you turn them off then they will not appear in the profile, leaving the only way to see them being from the user management panel, which I know is not exactly what you want at the mom...

Re: [2.0.15] Add "Full Name" to Profile

Hello everyone, sorry I have not been able to provide support for this mod in a long time, I locked myself out of this site when I tried to update my email address, then I moved on to other things... The mod has not been updated by me in a long time, so it as it stands it does not work with newer re...

Excellent. The 1.1.2 version works much better. I have more than one admin in my community, so it would be nice to be able to set more than one admin, perhaps in the ACP instead of hardcoding it. But I am happy with what this offers. Perhaps in future versions, you can add the additional ACP featur...

I have resubmitted the MOD, I am confident that it will be validated this time around. For those that have already installed my MOD and wish to have the bugs fixed you can get it from my forum MODs section (see my signature), this will be uneccessary once the MOD is updated here with the latest vers...

I will submit it shortly with the improved/updated code I have been kind of busy with other things and hadn't got around to it.
