Re: 2.0.4 Pages extension broken

Sure, move it there then. I wasn't asking for support, I was just trying to help out.

Merry Christmas.

2.0.4 Pages extension broken

3.3.0 phpbb
2.0.4 Pages

On my 3.3.0 board, trying to use the Pages extension was showing a blank white page.
Looking at the extension, it says it is up to date.
Disabling it then re-enabling it seems to have fixed the problem.

Just wanted to report this.

Re: Search Options

I believe the default was set to 3 chars min which I've left it at and with this topics input, was able to get searches working again so I think we're all good. I do like having lots of options with the software I use and we've learned that the best way to implement features is to design them in a w...

Re: Search Options

Finally working. I changed max chars to 20 since there are some hefty words used here and there and I changed common to 0. Deleted the index and re-created it and so far, all words I've tried are found. First, I want to say thank you to those who helped. Second, since several things were posted, I'd...

Re: Search Options

I definitely do not want to have members seeing no results on words that exist. It's their own choice if they want to search for 'the' all day long. I'm sure they would figure it out after seeing too many results. I saw that in the Search settings but didn't change it because I've read those are def...

Re: Search Options

Thanks. I tried that and it's doing the same thing. Just before deleting and re-creating, I tested and found there are a few words I can search but words I know 100% have been posted many times I cannot find and keep getting that error. It almost seems like it never finds words that have been used a...

Re: Search Options

There are no limitations for the DB size so I left everything as you said and clicked Submit. I had done this before posting. In the Search index section, there is no Create index in the 'phpBB Native Fulltext (active)' section. The only option is to Delete index. There are some values there. The fi...

Re: Search Options

Yes, thanks for the tip. I know how to build test servers. I simply have no time to do anything lately. I'm taking care of other peoples work on top of my own which is totally overwhelming. All I want to know is how to get searching working on the board. No one said anything about shortcomings of so...

Re: Words in Search Query Ignored

>You don't have to make these decisions. You can accept default settings. The system allows you to configure certain settings to your likings. That's what I have now since I've never had to deal with this and search doesn't work. I'm just trying to get to a point where search works. >You are but one...

Re: Words in Search Query Ignored

Oh gee, it's not rocket science after all. Did you read your reply? You make fun of me. I'm taking the time to post this while many others would not dare ask, they would see this and move on to some other software solution. There are several closed posts on this topic where people didn't understand ...

PS: Just found out the moderator split this into it's own post so that's why there were no details. The following is the original. https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=556&t=2489956 The error was/is; >The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common wo...

Re: UrlGenerator.php on line 136 and 408 errors

Checking quickly, the new error I just posted is what is being shown in the logs when I try to go to either of those two tabs. So, it looks like it's the Mediaembed extension causing this. Yup, I confirm. Disabling that extension allows those tabs to work again. I believe that was one of the ones I ...

Re: UrlGenerator.php on line 136 and 408 errors

I think at this point and not having enough time in a day suddenly, I should leave it where it is and I've posted a notice that members have to change their passwords. What I need to solve now is the white pages issue with those two tabs, then I can get back to some normality and start monitoring fo...
