Perhaps better than disabling features would be to install the Junior Admin MOD, which lets you limit which acp modules each admin may access. In other words you could have one admin with almost no acp priveleges and another with almost all.

Hope this helps,

You are probably using a template that doesn't have the visual confirmation in it, its a couple simple edits to add it. Search here for 'Visual Confirmation Guide' and follow the instructions for your template tpl's.

Looks like you are trying to use the smtp option with an incorrect login. Try turning it off and just using the default sendmail function.

The main problem with ipowerweb seems to be they have this insane idea we should be running phpbb as a cgi... if you don't do it, just move it out of the cgi-bin when they aren't looking, it should work as well as most servers. The other thing... one click installs are Never that, they are more hass...

Glad you got it working, but that was kinda overkill. If you find yourself in a similar situation try looking at the server_name and script_path fields in phpbb_config via phpmyadmin, you should be able to see if they are correct. :D Still, if its a new board a reinstall is no harm done. ---Thallium

Do a backup of your database via phpmyadmin. Then wipe everything clean, and start with a new install of the latest version of phpbb (2.0.17, you are still using 2.0.10) and restore your database. That won't likely help, it looks to me like there is sql injected to a forum description, just like th...

If you go to your admin index it will say at the bottom if you have 2.0.17 and if you downloaded it here you should be up to date anyway. You gotta give people more info to go on if you want help here though. :?

Looks like your script path is a little messed up. I'd expect it to be ../includes/db.php not ./../ you have your public_html in the script path, you shouldn't. Your public_html directory is the same level as your domain name.

iirc the Junior Admin mod allows you to specify which acp pages a user may access, so you could turn it on for group admin and off for everything else. Try a little searching around for it. :D
