Simply put, you're missing a needed template file. Normally you will get this after installing a new mod, or when adding a new style to a premodded site. Have you done either of those recently?

Install the Visual Confirmation MOD, which can be found in the /contrib/ directory of the standard 2.0.10 package. Since what you're seeing is bots, this will stop them from being able to register.
