Re: Move board to new VPS

Or better yet, use mysqldump to backup databases and rsync or scp to transfer files, you have a VPS

Those tools are faster than using phpMyAdmin + FTP

Re: Setting up FastCGI caching for phpBB on NginX

I remember I tried some time ago, but since I'm not an Nginx guru, I couldn't make it work properly. I might try it again. why do you expect to get support for server problems/questions at a support site that is strictly for something else? Because it's related and because a phpBB advanced users or ...

Re: [3.2][RC] SEO Metadata

Have I filled out the "logo" section okay? Yes, that's correct, however the tool by Google does not accept it to be an URL. I'm going to change it to be an ImageObject to make Google happy, you can see the progress here: https://github.com/AlfredoRamos/phpbb-ext-seo-metadata/pull/31 The error about...

Re: [3.2][RC] SEO Metadata

I changed the attachment settings (in the ACP) to 1200 x 800 in case it was an issue You can now use images up to 1200x1200px I wanted to ask, lately we've been getting errors in our Google Search Console for structure...

Here's a screenshot and example URL from our site
The script the screenshot is showing, is not part of this extension, which by the way is inserted in the wrong place.

The missing data (author, datePublished, and publisher) will be added in the next version.

Re: phpbb 3.2.7 + nginx sample config from docs

It was added to deny access to internal files from the /phpbb/ directory, except the ones from /ext/phpbb/ (official extensions). However that error is not so important since the only one affected are admins, it just prevents showing an image, at least right now. You could replace (?<!ext/)phpbb wit...

Re: BBCode removes anothers bbcodes

So you're using a pipe as delimiter, I've had problems with it too. I'm not sure what are your needs for a [col] BBCode, your can try other ones like [table] , [tbody] , [tr] , [td] , etc. https://s9etextformatter.readthedocs.io/Plugins/BBCodes/Add_from_the_repository/ Edit: More information about t...

The engine for phpBB 3.2.x doesn't render invalid markup. What's your [col] BBCode?

Re: Re-implement "Drafts" as normal posts visible only to the poster

This could help with this idea too:

viewtopic.php?f=436&t=2189611

Posts awaiting approval could be set as draft.

Both features seems that would do something very similar.

Re: [3.2][RC] SEO Metadata

When I add my image, I keep getting the error Invalid values for fields: Default image width So, you're trying to use an image with 1200x800 px? There's a limit of 1000 for either width or height. You have some options: Use a smaller image Use the same image but set an scaled dimensions that keep t...
