Re: [RC2] phpBB Ajax Like

I don't mind having a look... I've hacked apart this mod quite a bit for my own forum now. Just to begin, can you send me the basic subsilver overall header file you are using with the mod in it, send it via the pm system here, and then I'll reply with anything I can think of here.

Re: [RC2] phpBB Ajax Like

I looked at your forum.... but you don't make it clear. Is the page guests see in subsilver or prosilver? It seems to be called skymilesread. Where is the problem showing?

Re: [RC2] phpBB Ajax Like

I have worked out why this mod was not working for me on some pages.... I have the phpbb gallery installed (heavily hacked by me!). This sits in a new set of folders on the server like this, but all the following will apply to any installation where there are accessible php pages which are not locat...

Re: [RC2] phpBB Ajax Like

1) The "n likes received" link at the top-left of the main page is a bit flaky. It works well when on some pages, but not others: Works fine eg. here: http://www.ukorchidforum.com and http://www.ukorchidforum.com/viewforum.php?f=20 Doesn't work on this one at all (for me): http://www.ukor...

Re: [RC2] phpBB Ajax Like

Hello, I have been trying out this MOD a few weeks. I like it, and reconfigured the jquery-ui.css from their own site to get colours and styles to match what I need: A few issues though, which I can illustrate with my site if it's helpful: 1) The "n likes received" link at the top-left of ...

Re: Login gives captcha on first attempt

I have been getting this problem for a month or two now as well, and it's starting to drive away my members, which is not good. I checked our server log today and can see groups of attempted logins. They typically come in groups of between 1 and 4 attempts from multiple IP addresses within the same ...

Yep it was CHMOD'd fine. I solved the problem though. The commands "fgets" in the index.php file were not being recognised properly. It seems I am running from a very old version of php on my host (no idea what though). Changing the syntax to specifiy the string length worked. I set it at ...

I have installed the chatroom and the "who's online" add-on. The add-on causes the following error messages at the top of the main page: Warning: Wrong parameter count for fgets() in /home/robrah/public_html/index.php on line 109 Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sen...

Ahhh. I worked round it by creating a new nested table for the post subject and the IP address (etc.) columns.

Cheers.

Does it make no difference that the column the picture is in is meant to be a composite column of the two (hence the colspan=2 question)?

The text runs over between the two columns and doesn't expand the first one. Only the pic does that.

Is there a way to stop it?

Can someone tell me why pictures are not obeying colspan=2 ?

On my forum, when a picture is posted as part of a post it stretches out the post to only fill the first column of the post title (the post subject and time), which then pushes the next column above (the one with the "quote", "edit", "delete", "IP", etc. in it...

Missing value for {postrow.ROW_CLASS}

I am not getting any values for {postrow.ROW_CLASS} returned under viewtopic_body.tpl. All the other {postrow.###} values are being returned fine under that template. The cells are all carrying the background colour of the page background and will not respond to changes to row1, etc. Also, I placed ...

So would I be looking for an SQL editor instead and try to dump data into the new database that way? Or is the table structure too complex to handle it?

Can a Moderator or Administrator post as another member?

I would like to transfer over to phpBB from elsewhere and want to transfer the postings on my old forum. I can't get at them as a database to import, and all I can do is cut and paste raw text. Members are going to rejoin phpBB, but they won't want to repost all their posts themselves - and the timi...
