MarioKnight & 3dhue, this error isn't from this mod.... There is no "report.php" file included in it. *opens mouth and inserts foot* ^^;;;; I am very sorry for that whole post then. I've had a report post MOD installed for a few years on my board and it just started acting up like I describe...

I have been using this mod and it works great unless the "auto-report" problem. I have the same sql error as fatihalp89 on one forum..and with the exact same files and database. Really weird. Does anybody know how to get rid of the sql error? I get this: Error by getting reported posts. DEBUG MODE ...

I see the banners in my controlpanel, however it does not upload to the main page Same here. I am using phpBB 2.0.20 Be sure to double check the page_header.php file to see if it was editted properly. If it wasn't, then the path and filename won't be passed on to the index and you won't be able to ...

Posting problems

Just the other day, on my board a weird glitch that I haven't seen before came up. When any user tries to make a new topic, it can't be created and here's the error everyone gets: Could not insert new word DEBUG MODE SQL Error : 1196 Warning: Some non-transactional changed tables couldn't be rolled ...

Yep, just replace the img tag in that line with the one that the file lists for you and you should be fine.

when I try to run the sql I get this MySQL said: Documentation #1062 - Duplicate entry 'banner_source' for key 1 What I would try is go into your database and check your phpbb_config table to see if for some reason there's a 'banner_source' already in the table. If there is, then just delete the ro...

may I use a bitmap picture when substituting the phpbb logo? I have found a picture that is 175 wide and 104 high. Will this work? Sure, I'll copy and paste the part where I mentioned something similar above with *.swf files and modify it for bitmaps. admin/admin_banner.php find if( preg_match('/(\...

kkdavid, the only thing I can think of that might've happened is that you added the lines for /language/lang_english/lang_admin.php after the ?> instead of before. mafiaman, all you'll have to do is move your current banner into the newly made banner folder and then just select it with the module af...

PARA-BEATS, this MOD allows the admins to change the banner displayed on the forums pages, I'm not sure what the other stuff you're talking about is. However, for the moment at least, you do have to upload your banners via FTP or however to the banners folder. neo_one, in that code snippet you provi...

Actually, *.gif isn't the only extension that you can use it with, it's also compatible with *.jpg, *.jpeg, and even *.png. Basically the code for displaying the banner images in the module is a slightly modified code from the avatar display generators. I don't see why *.swf files wouldn't work, to ...

For some reason, my browsers still can't find your server, or else I'd gladly assist you. Could you possibly make a screencap or something of the sort I can see it and help you from there?

Your site can't be found for some reason, but it seems to me that you won't have a problem. My forums have banners of different sizes than the phpBB ones, and the way that my MOD (and phpBB by default) is setup is that the img tag of the banner has no witdh or height set, so I think you should be ab...

Just letting everyone know that I've gone over the problem with him via AIM, and after two or so hours, the problem was that he never uploaded the updated page_header.php file from his computer to his server, so the banner and banner_path rows weren't getting passed from the database to the viewable...

Looking through the global admin template, it seems that you can just add in my MOD with no problems. Just instead of editting templates/subSilver/admin/board_config_body.tpl, you should edit templates/admin/board_config_body.tpl, and templates/subSilver/admin/banner_change.tpl in the ZIP file shoul...
