Re: phpBB errors after upgrade to 3.3.0

Thank you. I've applied the fix, but unfortunately, it did not resolved the problem. The 503 error while switching between tabs/modules in ACP is still present.
E: I wasn't able to reproduce the Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ')' … error, but I can't confirm it's because of the fix.

Re: phpBB errors after upgrade to 3.3.0

That line in file.php is the same line we have seen problems in before concerning locks and flocks. It is mentioned in the common problems sticky topic at the top of this support forum. I am wondering if yours is a related problem. Solution: None at this time. This has been narrowed down to being c...

Re: phpBB errors after upgrade to 3.3.0

In error log are only multiple errors as I mentioned above :'-(

MySQL(i) 5.5.34 DB has ~ 185 MiB. I've attached PHP 7.3 config (thats what didn't worked with phpBB). In general the hosting should be much more powerful than I need.

Re: phpBB errors after upgrade to 3.3.0

In cases like these one shouldn't guess. Agree. But how to debug whether the issue is in phpBB or in PHP configuration? E.g. are there any special requirements that has to be met in PHP configuration otherwise phpBB will not work properly? Is there a way to measure what's running in phpBB? The 503 ...

Re: phpBB errors after upgrade to 3.3.0

The problem has been temporarily solved by downgrading to PHP v7.2 (and restoring DB backup from time before PHP 7.3). No issues so far. I guess phpBB 3.3.0 is not yet compatible with PHP 7.3 (change my mind :D ). I still would like to know the cause of these issues, especially 503 errors. I'm compa...

Re: phpBB errors after upgrade to 3.3.0

Czech language pack is indeed outdated here, but current version for phpBB v3.3.0 can be found on Czech phpBB forum. That's what I'm using. The default board language is set to English.

Re: Split /files into subfolders

Maybe I'll take a better forum software… ;)

One guy on Czech support forum suggested using acp module custom fields for this purpose…has anyone tried it? Please, any other solutions (except moving to other host)?

Split /files into subfolders

Hello, I'm facing a problem with my phpBB 3.2.x board. My hosting provider notified me that the /files folder, which is used by phpBB software to store all board attachments, contains too many files (currently more than 13 000) and that it affects or may affect performance of the server disk array. ...

(The board has some retarded restriction, so I have to use third party file hosting service. Meh.)

Re: BBCode Configurator Error After Updating to 3.2.2

I had the same issue. The problem was very probably in the vendor/s9e/ folder (as stated in the error message). Replacing the bbcode.html file from the orginal installation package didn't help. I've solved the problem by performing a manual update instead of using that retarded semi-automated upgrad...
