I can answer your second question. The post data is in two tables: phpBB_posts and phpBB_posts_text.

Look in the root directory for the Install directory. It should be there along with Themes, Admin, and so forth. Delete it.

I have a user who constantly experiences sessions errors

Hey, I have one user who is a moderator at a phpBB forum. She will try to perform a moderator-related action, like moving a thread, and she will experience sessions errors. No other moderators experience this issue. Could the be related to the fact that she uses an AOL proxy as her ISP? I believe he...

Done this morning. I have yet to experience another problem. I have to agree with you, it is soo doubtful that phpBB is doing this itself. It's like so close to impossible.

People are becoming moderators and other random stuff

Hey, I am a hired administrator for a phpBB forum. I just upgraded the forum (100,000+ posts) to phpBB 2.0.17, and everything was cool for a while. Then all of the sudden, people who used to be moderators were showing up as green in the Who's Online? list. So I had to change their profile from phpMy...

That's a good idea. I guess I'll do that--although I'm sure everyone will bitch about having to log in again. There won't be any negative effects if I rename the cookie, correct?
