Re: Looking for paid writers

Do you really want to pay someone whose very first post on this site was to answer your ad? With no knowledge of what they know. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a sleeper spam account to be honest as they haven't been back here since they posted. I have not heard the first time nor ever from him, so ...

Re: error log is huge

You can do that in ACP> Server settings if you have access. I left it blank, since the script (forum) in in the root, is that correct No, it should be / (forward slash) (like when you had your files in a directory forum the entry was forum/) Hmmm I opened the config.php file no where does it say an...

If the board is in the domain root it would be a forward slash. You shouldn't need to edit anything in config.php.
Done it , I wonder how the board was working all this time without it.

Thanks again for the help, much appreciate it, hope this solves the massive error log issue.

Re: error log is huge

Hold on a minute I just realized, when I installed the forum it was in a folder on the domain "Forum" then a while later I copied it over to the root of the domain, there is no "Forum" folder on the site, could that be it. The script thinks there is one and how to fix this mess.

so how about deleting the "Twig" folder leaving the "Vendor" one?
Nope - your site will stop working
I was hoping you wouldn't say that :)

May I ask you, what is the error in your opinion and how can I fix it. I don't even know what Twig is or does. Can it be turned off somewhere on the site.

Re: error log is huge

ACP's error log or the server one? I'd cancel both of them to see what's actually going on. No not the ACP on the server. Here is just the first 5 links, all the error log is this vendor/twig junk. so how about deleting the "Twig" folder leaving the "Vendor" one? #0 /home/nfvltd/public_html/forum/v...

Re: Show forum name instead of forum id

and if your goal is better search engine rankings, don't bother. at this point in your board's life it will actually reduce your search engine placement for a while until the search engines come around and reindex your site. as far as SEO is concerned it will be like starting over from scratch. if ...
