Re: Unable to update board from 3.2.1 to 3.2.5

The strange thing is that (in my experience) a correctly disabled extension shouldn't break an update. Well, disabling an extension is one thing, deleting the data is another and i think that is the point. With pauls (and i am sure with others that use the notification system) the notification mana...

Re: Unable to update board from 3.2.1 to 3.2.5

Anyway, why are they delaying it? ;) (that's a typo I hadn't seen before) Not intended i assure you... ;-) Just check any / all of the .htaccess files you have visibility to through your hosting account, to see if any of them reference 418. Maybe some kind of example that shouldn't have ever been u...

Re: Unable to update board from 3.2.1 to 3.2.5

Thanks warmweer (dat moet een nederlandse naam zijn ;-) ) Disabled all extensions without change, uploaded a complete set of default 3.2.5 files... no change... trying to install a new board 3.2.5. this evening and contacted the provider (and no, it's not some small obscure one) but customer service...

Unable to update board from 3.2.1 to 3.2.5 [Solved]

As already discussed in another topic (and gracefully forwarded to this topic by Mick)... I am trying to update one of my boards, 3.2.1 to 3.2.5. Pressing the update button does nothing but gives an error on all .js files in installer_footer.html. The error itself is, how unlikely it may seem (see s...

If the update went well on localhost, why not update completely on localhost and then import the updated database (with a few edits to the config table).

Code: Select all

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)
well, it was a good idea...

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.2.5 Release

Trying that now (db already uploaded but is a 1636Mb so took a while), still curious why the update failed. Could it be SSL ?

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.2.5 Release

Using the auto-update method, updating from 3.2.1 to 3.2.5 i am getting a 418 (I'm a Teapot) error on jquery.min.js and the following javascript files in installer_footer.html. Not sure if this falls in the category support or not and no, this isn't a joke, haven't heard of this error before. Locall...

Re: This is an intervention! :D

I have actually read the entire post, smiled a lot and frowned sometimes and it all seems to come down to some remarks about feature requests (well, one can agree or disagree) AND... proSilver and.. I for one agree with that.... but don't we all. I think even the phpBB team(s) are considering proSil...

Re-themed it based on Hanakin's Prosilver style guide.

Installed it, installed some boards (in fact, QI is a great tool, using it all the time) and didn't see any strange things or flaws. Working great ;)

Then do the normal troubleshooting thing like disabling all the extensions, removing all other BBCodes, etc...
Did a qi on a localhost, works flawlessly, going to debug. Thanks Joshy! ;)
