Re: Open links in new tab

personally, I don't like tabs and rarely use them. I find it quite annoying when you click on a link in a forum and then end up on another page. If you want to return to the forum, you click on back in your browser - but you can't even click 10 times from this page. Unfortunately there are more and...

Re: phpBB 3.2 Style

He can take an existing suitable style and insert a background corresponding to his ideas as well as a suitable header picture - and he already has his nostalgia style. His main problem should be matching icons. nostalgie header.png nostalgie header 3.png Nostalgie Header4.jpg (pictorial material fr...

Re: phpBB 3.2 Style

Time is definitely too short. But in any case you would have to know more. Nostalgia is not just nostalgia. There is such a thing https://pixabay.com/de/illustrations/polaroid-sofortbild-foto-aufnahme-1969862/ Or something like that https://pixabay.com/de/illustrations/blumenstrau%C3%9F-rosen-ziffer...

Re: Set all topic views to 0 in ACP

Surely the first person visiting the board would have expected the admin to have at least had a look to make sure it all worked ok. No one is going to refuse to join or PM the admin because a forum has had a few views. But it's also pretty nonsensical if all views are from the admin. How woul...

Re: Today's Firefox Update - Quick login input changed color

It's not a color problem in phpBB designs (in my opinion). They are systems-, and browser-related properties. phpBB developers may be able to confirm that? Thank´s and best regards. It definitely isn't. It shows you that you have saved your login data for this page or forum in your browser. I find ...

Re: 3.2.7 Radio for html Dummies

Thanks, but for some time now I have help in the form of deepl translator. Most of the time it translates much better than Google. Of course you also have to do a lot of hand work yourself. :) I also worked for 1 year in a company in an office where the company language was English. I had the least ...

Re: 3.2.7 Radio for html Dummies

I have inserted the other possibility / guide no longer, because there is a much simpler and better solution with Pages. You can find the demo and tutorial in my styleforum (Announcement). Note: In the latest Firefox version 67, however, you have to remove the tick in the address bar on the left in ...

Re: Today's Firefox Update - Quick login input changed color

Yes Talk19Zehn, Yesterday I figured it out too. Well, if you look at it closely, you'll finally get it. If you are new on a page in a forum and have not saved the login, the color looks as desired. As soon as you are logged in to a forum on a page and save your password in Firefox, the color changes...

Re: Today's Firefox Update - Quick login input changed color

I don't like it either, but it has been like that for a while using Firefox Nightly. I'm not sure if this can be disabled or changed with CSS, do you know something about that? As I mentioned, I visited several forum sites yesterday that installed my styles, the colors were great everywhere. Someho...

Re: Today's Firefox Update - Quick login input changed color

What is the version of FF? The current version for the Desktop PC in German is 67.0 . What's funny is that in many forums, the same style looks exactly the same as before. In my both online forums and in the local forum it is displayed inappropriately. If you want to create a style, I find it tedio...

Re: Why forum over Facebook?

It seems that especially young people who spend the whole day with their cell phones in their hands prefer to go around the Facebook groups rather than a forum. I definitely prefer to go to a forum. Facebook seems insecure to me and all my data are kept permanently - I'm sure (The people responsible...

Today's Firefox Update - Quick login input changed color

You are definitely never safe from surprises with your browser. Just now Firefox congratulated me on the latest version. Updated it secretly (it never happened automatically before). The yellow Quicklogin background color in the Chrome had always annoyed me. But now the colors of the Quicklogin are ...

Anyway, this works in 3.2.5:

Code: Select all

[float_left]{TEXT}[/float_left]

Code: Select all

<div style="float:left; padding:0 10px;">{TEXT}</div>

Code: Select all

Float left for text wrap: img, video, text
Also works in 3.2.7 with an attachement image and text to the right of it.

Re: Set all topic views to 0 in ACP

I wouldn't trust a board where topics have more replies than views. Your intention would also need more details to be stored, i.e. storing per topic since when visits are counted. Yes the picture was a little badly chosen  But it's also pretty nonsensical if all views are from the admin. Like ...
