Re: New Posts since last visit

Have you tried disabling those extensions one by one to see if maybe one of them is causing your issue? I see a few that deal with posts/topics.

ACP > Board settings. I have mine set to override, but you can play with those settings.

Re: Attachment to a different drive

You could create a symlink on Windows (haven't actually tried this), but I would advise against this if you don't understand what you're doing.

Re: Checking auth of poster

That actually helps immensely! I'll give that a try, thanks. Edit: Progress! This works, but it's grabbing the postrow GROUP COLOR for the last poster that is true and adding it for ever post (even ones where s_in_group is false). <style> {% for postrow in loops.postrow %} {% if postrow.S_IN_GROUP %...

Re: Checking auth of poster

I'll GitHub the code later. I already have the listener working fine. It"s just the CSS.

Code: Select all

.post {
	border-right: 5px solid #bc092f; /* your group color */
}
I forgot about editing the post class, so thank you for that. However, the group color is dynamic for each post (pulled from a DB query in my listener), hence why I'm trying other routes.

overall_header_stylesheets_after.html

Code: Select all

.post-border {
	border-right: 5px solid {postrow.GROUP_COLOR};
}
Just for completeness, I did this. As I suspected, you can not use a postrow variable outside of the postrow loop.

Re: Checking auth of poster

Afaik, templating doesn't work on css files, only on template files. So you need inline css styling in your template. I figured. I tried the inline styling and for whatever reason it would not show. I'll play with it more. Use overall_header_head_append.html together with overall_header_stylesheets...

Re: Checking auth of poster

One more thing, how do I pass postrow template vars to CSS? This doesn't work.

Code: Select all

.post-border {
	border-right: 5px solid {postrow.GROUP_COLOR};
}

Re: Checking auth of poster

That checks the current user. I need to check the auth of the poster. For example, viewing this topic, $this->auth->acl_get('my_permission') and !$this->auth->acl_get('my_permission') check if I have the permission. How do I check if you have the permission.

Checking auth of poster

I'm stumped on this one. I need to check (in viewtopic) if the poster as a specific permission. I know $this->auth->acl_get('my_permission') checks if the current user has it, but can't wrap my head around checking other users. Can someone provide documentation or an example?
