Re: [3.2][BETA] Rin Editor for phpBB (WYSIWYG Editor) (Powerd by CKEditor)

Really great extension! The only problem I'm having is that the attachments are a bit wonky. When editing a post with multiple attachments, you can't see all of them (I see only one) so you also can't delete them. (I'm using the Ravaio theme) - anyone have any tips on bugfixing this? Hey Elv, that'...

@Ger, Topic'it is two times better than Tapatalk. Don't get me started about tapatalk. Even my 4 year old son could make something better than that so to speak. So two times better still ain't no good ;) LOL  I couldn't have said it better... and YET, why are people are so obsessed with taptal...

Re: migration with CLI doesn't start

The procedure to go from phpBB 3.0 to 3.2 is different... You need to use the CLI version which is actually in the "install" folder any other method (except within the browser link) will not work. Check sitesplat.com for a tutorial I posted for my clients. (I'm on my phone now and don't have the exa...

Re: PHP7.0.19 broke my 3.1 forum, can't access.... help please

My webhost updated to PHP7.0.19 last night and now I get the following error: mysql_connect function does not exist, is mysql extension installed? [] I found the following on a discussion for v3.2 - You need to use the mysqli-driver, because mysql-driver is long deprecated (since php 5.4 or similar...

Re: Rolling back 3.1.10 from 3.2

The primary reason I am thinking of rolling back is because a lot of extensions dont work on 3.2 The possibility that extensions/styles from 3.0/3.1 are incompatible with 3.2 is well publicised here. That information is given in the user guide and many other places too. Not quite... It shouldn't ha...

Re: 3.2 enabling all extensions

Perhaps we should add the behavior options upon setup,

@define('PHPBB_ENVIRONMENT', 'production');

and if set as 'development' avoid the mass installation in the ext folder... On this note can we get a documentation about the development and production modes for the config file?

Re: 3.2 enabling all extensions

Quite a nuisance with this. From a developer prospective this is a big pain and from the user prospective this is just discouraging. Can we have this fixed with the next update? I'm assuming this was done to auto-install the vigilink ext upon the initial setup? If yes then just target the vigilink e...

Re: CSS Code For This Snippet?

Use the "Code" BBcode when you post those snippets... use the following and add it to your colours.css file at the very end of that file. #qr_postform textarea { border: 2px solid #ccc; border-radius: 4px; height: 60px !important; } Please note due to some bad CSS specificity with prosilver and sele...

Re: Anonymous updated my board?

Perhaps, never heard of GoDaddy doing that...but might be worth asking I have heard of GoDaddy doing this before Indeed. they have the automatic phpBB upgrade enabled by default. you need to turn it off via your cPanel and then please voice a formal complaint. That setting is very dangerous and sho...

Re: Login with e-mail instead of username

Hi, I want users to log in with e-mail instead of username. Can someone instruct me how to modify my phpbb 3.1.1 board to achieve this? For obvious reasons I will not allow reuse of e-mail. Thank you! There is already an extension for this. https://github.com/ForumHulp/loginwithemail You can use it...

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.1.7-PL1 Released

Only use a good FTP or SSH client, such as FileZilla , to transfer the files. (File transfer utilities provided in host control panels can cause problems.) I use WinSCP myself. Filezilla will overwrite files without even asking. Yeah it certainly doesn't do that. If it does you gotta check your set...

Re: Integration of WordPress and phpBB 3.1.6

I am building a new site on WordPress and have an old but newly upgraded phpBB 3.1.6 forum with 4400 posts, which I want to integrate with the new WP-site. What are my best options for integrating these today? From what I have read so far it seems like it has become more difficult to integrate with...
