I think it's because of a recent change that made the profiles have fixed width of 200px before that it was percent-ed based
OK, thanks.

Re: Why does the width at which avatars are displayed never change anymore?

Are you saying the avatars were responsive using an extension I can't for the life of me understand what's not clear about that. At least twice I very clearly referred to the max width switch extension. In the original post, For example, if I had the max-width switch extension enabled and in my sec...

Re: Why does the width at which avatars are displayed never change anymore?

I don't recall avatars ever being responsive in prosilver. Well they definitely were, certainly up to phpBB 3.2.10. I know because I'm running a 3.2.10 board right now and I have the max width switch extension enabled. When I display the forum at standard width, my avatar that's 520px wide is displ...

Why does the width at which avatars are displayed never change anymore?

I believe in 3.2, the width at which avatars were displayed would responsively change depending on the width at which the forum was displayed. For example, if I had the max-width switch extension enabled, and the forum was taking up the whole width of the screen, the avatar would appear larger. But ...

Re: How to type an emoji in a topic title?

Ah, OK. So that allows ya to use bold and italics and things like that in topic titles? If so, I'm having difficulty figuring out how.

Re: How to type an emoji in a topic title?

Ah, I see now. I have a "touch keyboard" apparently that I can use for emojis. Still don't know what a rich text character is, though.

Most people would just use the Emoji picker in their browser to enter one
I use Firefox. Does that have a default "Emoji picker", or would I have to get a plugin?

And what is a rich text character?

How to type an emoji in a topic title?

I see there's now a permission "Can use emoji and rich text characters in topic title", but can someone tell me how to do that, or link me to a page explaining it? I don't know what the right codes are for typing emojis. And also, what are rich text characters?

link to your board please. it is probably just a css change for your dark style. robert I'll set up a test account and PM ya a link to the forum. In the meantime, here's an example of what I mean. Compare this image of the quick reply box in the proSilver style, https://i.imgur.com/t2HY20l.png wher...

Any way to keep the colour of the text on a BBCode button consistent whether the current style is light or dark?

I've noticed that when I switch to a dark style, the text on BBCode buttons becomes very faint and almost impossible to read. Is there any way to stop this from happening?

Did you give permissions to "test"?
Yeah, thanks, I worked out that's what the problem was.

Cannot move a topic

Just created a new forum under "Your first category" called "test" and tried moving a topic to there from "Your first forum" but couldn't. The dropdown menu under "Move topic" works and the forum names are there but they're greyed out. I can't click on any of them. So I can't select "test" to move t...
