Thanks a lot mrgoldy! I had found the 2nd option (Advanced Permissions for Registered Users), but I missed the 1st (Enable dice). I had only selected the top forum in order to include all subforums, but there is no Enable dice option there. Thanks to you I learned that I had to select every single f...
Hi and sorry for maybe asking the obvious, but I’m stumped here. I installed the extension and I can see and use the Dice Tester page located on the top of my forum: https://i.postimg.cc/mrbwGhRN/Bildschirmfoto-2019-09-05-um-16-16-35.png What I can't do is using Dice when posting, even though...
OK, the reason for this was that I forgot to empty the forum cache via Admin Control Panel. After doing so the paths are identical and the svg works when put in the forum’s root directory.
Thanks for your reply! I found out why it wasn’t working. In overall_header.html I did use a relative path to my svg: Bildschirmfoto 2017-05-23 um 10.12.17.png But when viewed in the Browser’s source code view it looks like this: Bildschirmfoto 2017-05-23 um 10.13.00.png So for now I just created an...
I undid everything, it was just for testing. I am not talking about the favicon. Today there are several icon formats in use and I’d like to support all of them (like I do with my other static websites). First, there’s the old favicon.ico which usually does not require any code as long as it sits in...
Hi everyone, I would like to add a Safari (macOS) Pinned Tab Icon (see here and here ) to my phpbb 3.1.10 forum. In an earlier version (3.1.x I believe) I had inserted this code inside <head> of index.php: <head> <link rel='mask-icon' href='my_file.svg' color='green'> </head> But this does not work ...
Thanks a lot for your support, JoshyPHP, I tried with the updated version from github right from the start, but it does not work. Amazon URLs are still shown with images and buy buttons and therefore blocked if AdBlock is enabled. Here’s an excerpt from listener.php, lines 84 to 94, with the changes...
Thanks, I could do that, but it’s next to impossible to educate all users to not just paste the link into the post like they’re used to. There were already a few occurrences with threads of confused users which were unaware that their adblockers prevented them to see the links, be it from other user...
This is a great extension, but I have a question. Is it possible to disable some of its supported sites? In my case we get little Amazon Product images with Buy-Buttons whenever a user posts a link from Amazon. My Adblocker (rightfully) does not show these. At first I thought the user just forgot to...
If you want to just take a look at it, you can go to http://www.ajax-shoutbox.com and login with user: test pw: testtest It seems to me that text in the shoutbox just works (=is parsed) the same as in the forums, because all BBCodes work the same as in a forum post. Even this Extension ’s functional...
