Re: How can I make a registration / login bridge?

If you know PHP and study how extensions are made, then that would be your ticket. Requesting an extension will more than likely get you no where or take a very long time for someone interested to take it up. If you look around here there are people who advertise in their signatures for paid work.

I’d be inclined to have a read about sending emails ‘to all’ (mass email) as you may be in breach of GDPR if all the recipients haven’t given you permission to do so.
I wouldn't think so. I've been getting email after email of privacy updates all over the place because of this crap.

Return to the possibility of storing entries after deleting a user account... What about attachments? Is the deletion after the account is deleted or not? I never checked it. What happens if it stays in posts? I know, the user can delete attachments from the UCP before deleting the account. But he/...

Re: Help with the Urls

The reason for the URL discrepancy is probably due to the Cert not being generated for those URLs. In cPanel you may have had an option to what URLs the Cert should be issued for. At least that's what I saw when I generated my Certs.

Re: SSL HTTPS help URGENT PLEASE HELP

The Apache module is called mod_cloudflare. If your host doesn't have it installed, ask them to install it. If you use WordPress there is a plugin from CloudFlare as well that will do what that extension does for phpBB.

Hey now, we're not all that trendy...  I guess I just beat the millennial epoch for I am 37. But I am pretty trendy, at least I think so. I wear bowling shirts and cargo pants. Sometimes an occasional Hawaiian shirt. I should have my GTA San Andreas avatar redone to reflect my ...

Re: Three features you would like to see in 3.3.

I would "like" your post if I could. Maybe we'll see that as a 3.3 feature? Heaven forbid. Yeah, when you are used to a platform called Xenforo that tries to copy social media, you expect it. Frankly, I think Xenforo is geared more towards Millennials. That's my take every time I interact with foru...

Re: Three features you would like to see in 3.3.

I can't stand WYSIWYG posting. It carries over the font and color of the text you copy and it's annoying. I'd rather edit my text the way I want it with BBcode.

It doesn't do that for me. Something is wrong. Port 443 is for HTTPS.

Re: Recomendations on image hosting services

I use the AWS extension and all attachments are uploaded to AWS. If you don't have tons and tons of pulls and gets and the storage is less than 5 GB, then you won't pay anything. Go above that and it will only be pennies a month. I have also used imgur on my other forum where I don't allow attachmen...

Re: HTTP ERROR 500 on login after power outage

It sounds like MAMP has been corrupted. Perhaps due to a cache in use while the power went out. You may want to try and reinstall MAMP. a 500 error is a server error. For the future your computer should have an adequate UPS that will safely turn off the PC upon power failure. Make sure the UPS you c...

A 500 error is a server error. You need to get in touch with your host.
