Re: Gaps in Gallery Avatar list

No image there to get details from. Just a space. No information when right clicking. There is no outline box or select option at the bottom either. Just empty spaces. If you compare the two images above, there seems no specific images either side that could be causing it. If you resize your browser...

Gaps in Gallery Avatar list

Running phpBB 3.3. I have recently noticed a few gaps when viewing the Gallery Avatars in both the User Control Panel/Profile/Edit Avatars and also as Admin when editing a users profile. All my Gallery Avatars are the same size 60 x 60. I've checked the folder and there are no strange files or corru...

Re: Registered Users able to hide online status without permission

This is embarrassing, I tried with never and with no using my daughters account log-in (clearing the cache each time I changed permissions). And now I can't replicate it. I wish I took a screenshot of the official forum bit. I first assumed it was the 24 Hour Stats Extension. https://www.phpbb.com/c...

Are they in any other groups with a permission of YES?
What happens if you set it to NEVER?
They are only in Registered Users Group.

I don't know, I hadn't set the permission to never, just no.

Registered Users able to hide online status without permission

OK, I don't know if this is normal behaviour (and has always been the case) or if there is a slight issue with phpBB 3.3 There must have been a period of time (years ago) when the group permission to allow registered users to hide their online was set to YES. I had 3 users who had ticked the check b...

Re: Private Messages deleting - form was invalid

Thank you 3Di, that fixed the issue.

I'm not looking forward to the next forum update having manually altered so many core files. But hay ho. :D

I'm trying to keep a log of any changes I've made...

Private Messages deleting - form was invalid

phpBB 3.3 None of my users can delete their old Private Messages using the tick boxes and selecting delete. Individual PM's can be deleted, but not a list. Annotation 2020-01-30 201904.jpg On the next page, we get: The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again Any ideas where I start to looki...

Re: SQL ERROR when user sends PM

You are a star. Thanks. Seems to be working OK. I just sent a PM with an emoji in the subject and in the message and got no errors.

Just apply the fix here: https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb/pull/5813/files
I'm having a job knowing which bit to find and what to replace. Any chance of just writing it out simply for me?

Re: SQL ERROR when user sends PM

It looks like it is an emoji error. I've just tried to PM him with an emoji in the subject and got the same error.

Re: SQL ERROR when user sends PM

I'm running phpBB 3.3.

I'm waiting for him to get back to me. I've told him to use plain text only and see what happens.

SQL ERROR when user sends PM

I have a 1 member who is unable to send a PM. He can PM me as admin. Can't work out what this error message means. SQL ERROR [ mysqli ] Incorrect string value: '\xF0\x9F\x92\xB7 P...' for column 'message_subject' at row 1 [1366] An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Boar...

Re: [3.2][3.3][BETA] Emoji

No problem. As phpBB 3.3 allows emoji in the subject of a post, is there any way this could be integrated into the extension? I'm guessing that might not be possible but thought I'd ask 🙄

Re: [3.2][3.3][BETA] Emoji

Yes, purged the forum cache and cleared browser cache. I also disabled all extensions apart from Emoji ext in case one was conflicting with this one. Still no joy. I'm using standard Prosilver style. When as admin I go to edit a post, the emoji shown in the topic title shows correctly, but not in th...
