Re: Post Expire

Theoretically yes. But it needs more coding. First you need secure, that only topic/post owner, or moderator can access the topic expire on viewtopic, not everyone who can view this topic. Then make a link that will execute the same thing as topic/post edit, but instantly add proper fields to databa...

Re: Post Expire

There is no such switches. It's more complicated. You should add another status of the topic in database, the wich wil tell the topic has expired. Next you need change the post_expire_remove() function, so after expire the new status will be set. And the last thing is to display that the post has ex...

Re: Post Expire

It should be easy. Set in ACP: "Kind of Expire set" to "After specified time". "Default action" to "Move" "Default Forum" to your hidden forum. In permissions set: "Can use only default forum" to Yes. "Can set move expire time" to Yes All other to no. And in "language\en\mods\pe.php" # #-----[ FIND ...

Re: Post Expire

I will work on all new features at once. Also enable/disable in every forum (in fact forum permissions).
And yes. I think I manage this in 7 months.

Re: Post Expire

Sorry, no progress. I'm busy lately, and I'm only just checking if someone needs my assistance in here from time to time.

Re: Post Expire

You set permissions on Permission page, for a specific group or user. Example path how to set permissions:
ACP->Permissions->Group's permissions->Registered Users->Advanced permissions->Post Expire tab.
It works with 3.0.7-PL1. I've tested it.

Re: Post Expire

Your viewtopic_body.html isn't an original file from the phpbb package. It is modified. And as far as I see, there are some lines deleted. Just do the second instruction (it's not the same exactly, but very similar, because your have some nbsp; inserted and some spaces deleted). And leave the rest. ...

Re: Post Expire

Salvo, as far as I see, you only set permissions to one person. And as far as I understand this one person doesn't see post expire options in posting page.
Please post posting.php file, and show me config page of Post Expire in ACP.

"Exact time" is config option, not a permission. And it has nothing to do with your problem. :-)
Please read carefully readme in package file. Especially description of permissions.

Re: Post Expire

Expire time in topic table is added when topic is set to expire. If expire time isn't set it gives 0. Check if you look at the correct topic.

Re: Post Expire

That's a good idea. I'll take a look at this, when I'll be working with new version. I can't say when it will happen, but I hope that soon.
