Re: Country -> State -> City custom profile fields

Would you need the country/state/city exclusive to the United States, or other countries?

Re: Limiting forum access by amount of times viewed

Hi all, I'm after a bit of advice about our classic car owners club forum. We are proposing some changes to give paid members more value for money and we want to limit access to our technical advice areas to free members. We are aware that this can be done by limiting the post count for that partic...

phpbb in an iframe..

Hello everyone, Odd question here, you probably already know what I'm about to ask. How efficient is phpbb in an iframe? I know a while back in the earlier version of 2.0.x I tried it and had cookie problems with IE6, do any of you know a resolution or this, or confirm phpbb works flawlessly in an i...

Re: user warnings - can't delete

Then modify phpBB3 so that it's gone. That's the beauty of open source -- don't like something, change it. There is no way to do that in the default package, as it is completely illogical to do so. Be that as it may, if you don't want it, as I said, remove it. Hmm.. Yeah. Most likely someone will c...

Re: user warnings - can't delete

If you are a moderator of a forum, you access the moderator control panel. What if you don't want a certain user to see reports, warnings, ect.. yet your just want them to moderate a forum with limited permissions. Personally setting someone mod, I would like to have the option to allow them to use...

Re: user warnings - can't delete

Wisdom, how could deleting the logs help remove the warning? It doesn't, that's all you've implied. The question is to the dev team, why don't they allow to to correct errors. Also why is the modcp level based and not permissions based?

AcidBurn's Converter..

What's up with it? Has anyone else tried to make a conversion with it from phpbb 2.0.X? I get to the table prefix and folder location part and I keep getting errors that appear to be incorrect. I'm not sure if the converter is buggy or not, haven't really been keeping my eyes on it very well. I was ...

Re: Multiple Database ! 1 Single Install dir

I suggest not to get into the free forums market for phpBB 2. It's way to flooded. Not adays, people are getting their own web hosting accounts and either getting friends to install MODs on for them. I wrote my own phpBB3 hosting MOD a while back when beta1 came out, but I lose total interest in it ...

I loaded it on my system. It's running great, although it's relying way to much on the graphics card. Overall I'm thinking about purchasing it when it comes out.
