Thanks for your feedback. I have remove use of this script from anywhere that I could. Hopefully this will reduce some load on the mySQL server. I still need to run it on a few pages/subdomains, but perhaps this will help. If stability returns, we've pretty much confirmed that phpBB Fetch All was th...

One of your MODs are executing a really bad query performance wise on the Server. Unfortunately you didn't post the whole thing, but the root of the problem looks to be the query starting with SELECT f.*, p.*, pt.*, t.*, u.* FROM topics AS t, users AS u, posts_text AS pt, Although I can't see the e...

The errors that are occuring are indicative of problems on the MySQL server, not in the scripts. PHPBB does not use locking... so the locks are being automatically applied by MySQL to cover inserts and such, but not being released automatically. There isn't a lot PHPBB can do about things being don...

This is something you have to bring up to whoever is in control of the MySQL server; errors like this normally require that the server be restarted, because it thinks one or more processes have locked tables, but those processes are no longer around to unlock them. I understand that the mySQL serve...

Any thoughts on adding auto-discovery of geo-location based on IP address lookups like this implementation for vBulletin?

It lists guests and even spiders. Now that is cool...

Are you thinking of submitting them to the MOD Database? That would be kewl if true. That's the beauty of an Open Source community like this. I have written a few custom MODs myself that I may try to submit to the MOD Database. All of my MODs are written with EM in mind... No. They're just li...

When using the rollover function with Firefox, the popup event window tends to float partially off-screen for late week (i.e. Friday, Saturday) events. With IE, the popup shifts over to the left and is completely legible. Can anything be done there?

Look toward the bottom of page 138. Yes this has been answered many times... Yes, you can set the Topic Calendar permissions for only one forum. I created a Calendar Events forum on my board. You could do something similar... :? I'm sure it has. I don't know - one thread for popular mods like this ...

Limit Event Posting to just one forum?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm not about to browse through 141 pages...

How do you limit event posting to just particular forums?

Can you only allow mods or certain usergroups to post events?
