Customizing the Registration form?

I was asked by one of the users of my site if, when someone registers, if we could add the question "who referred you to this forum".

Is that possible? If so, how?

Thank you in advance!

Moving a post to another section of the forum

I have looked and looked is this possible? if so how. I can see where you can prune based on dates. You can delete. You can lock, but I do not see a MOVE function. I would like to move a few messages to other parts of the forum.

Thank you in advance.

Avatar Upload Issue

I copied your avatar from your post to the desktop, and uploaded that, and it worked fine! So it must be a format, size issue?? what are the specs for that? I noticed yours is a .GIF, do they have to be .GIFs?

Avatar Upload Issue

No error, I just go to my profile, select avatar to upload by browesing, then I click submit, the page flashes briefly and no avatar is shown.

does the avatar have to be in some kind of format? I used an avatar that I used for an AOL IM avatar and it didnt work, just a tiny little jpg.

Avatar Upload Issue

I think I saw something from the hosting company that they do not allow 777 but that might be on the root directori...
