Re: Question...

No, you're not being targeted. However, you are failing to comprehend what they're saying. "HGN" responded quite appropriately to your response to "robert"'s reply. "robert" had stated that you would most likely need to pay a coder to have work done on your site according to what you want/need, and ...

Brf wrote:When I say "the software from here", I mean unmodified software.

Then I misunderstood your meaning. My apologies.

Re: BBcode [code][/code] tags

Your style is hugely out of date. Try switching back to prosilver and seeing if works in that.[/quote] That was it. I previewed prosilver from (option in ACP) and went to post a test topic. Sure enough, the [code] tag was there and worked great. ...<sigh> Now I'm off to find a really nice "black" s...

Re: BBcode [code][/code] tags

...If you are not seeing code tags, then you must not be using the software from here. I'll leave the subject matter alone since you've stated that it's already built in. Why I'm not seeing it is obviously "my problem" and I'll have to figure out what's going on. However, the quoted portion of your...

Re: BBcode [code][/code] tags

Because it's not native to PhpBB, is it? I'm not seeing it in the ACP or on the main board as an option when I post. (Yes, I'm the admin of the board).

Re: MOD Request

Hmmm... okay, I've created a new field that the user cannot change (field used for admin purposes only). However, how can I enter data into this field for a user? I try to "administrate user", not there. It's also not in the ACP under Users and Groups. {EDIT} .... you know what? I found it. Sorry ye...

Re: MOD Request

Absolutely correct. It's right there already in the ACP. Honestly, don't know how I missed it, but I did. Thanks for the MOD Request link, and for pointing out where the feature I requested already exists.... which I obviously overlooked.

MOD Request

First, I can probably assume that this topic will/should get moved into the correct forum, so my apologies for not knowing where that is. The request: Looking for a MOD where I can add custom fields for each user's profile. For example, I have a user field named "Favorite Color", where the user can ...

Re: SMTP mail with outbound.mailhop.org

... and truthfully, I'm not concerned so much about mass-emailing. My main concern is that people can't sign up to my boards because they're not getting the confirmation emails from the board. Oh sorry, umm in that case try adjusting the email package size to 0 (or 1 whichever causes it to send imm...

Re: SMTP mail with outbound.mailhop.org

Okay, here's an update.... 1. I log in. 2. I click on the memberlist 3. I click on the email link to email a member (Users send e-mail via board is Enabled) 4. I fill out subject and message 5. I click send 6. User receives email. Okay, great. But, if I go to the ACP and mass-email that same user, ...
