Re: Attachment Mod

Nope...not possible. And you are correct about the FTP feature. It merely stores the attachments on another server but you're still bound by the limits set in PHP. You could upload a fake file with the same name and then use an FTP program to replace the fake file with the real one. Not a bad idea!...

Re: Attachment Mod

Hello, Would it be possible to upload a file using an FTP program, and then select it with the Attachment MOD, therefore bypassing all file size limits? Because if I read correctly, the FTP function built into this MOD will only make a copy of the uploaded file to another server, right? Thanks for c...

Re: [Beta] Display date with daylight savings time

Hello,

Will this modification automatically modify the user timezones when DST kicks in (in my case, March 8th, 2009)? And will the timezones automatically be set back to regular time (no DST) when appropriate?

Thanks! ;)

Re: Email Digests

Fixed using the following code:

Code: Select all

$post_text = preg_replace("#\[html:([a-zA-Z0-9]+)\](.*?)\[/html:([a-zA-Z0-9]+)\]#si", "". $lang['digest_html_text'] ."", $post_text);
Thanks Mark; hope this will help others! :mrgreen:

Help with ereg_replace function

Hello, Since I've installed the HTML BBCode on my board, I would like to get rid of all code between the [html:xxx] and [/html:xxx] brackets for all posts emailed to users. I don't understand the ereg_replace and preg_replace functions quite well, but by looking at existing code and using a trial an...

Re: Email Digests

Thanks for your reply! No, I do not allow HTML in posts; instead, I've installed the HTML BBCode, which adds a HTML BBCode button for admins and moderators. The syntax is as follows: [html:xxx]All HTML code you want![/html:xxx] where xxx is the BBCode ID (a string of numbers and letters). What I wan...

Re: Smartfeed

Hi, Mark, I just fixed a problem with topics titles having quotes: in smartfeed.php, just before $item->link = SMARTFEED_SITE_URL . 'viewtopic.' . $phpEx . '?' . POST_POST_URL . '=' . $row['post_id'] . '#' . $row['post_id']; // This logic ensures the time shown for each item in the newsfeed reflect...

Found an easy fix for this one:
simply add a valid email address to the Anonymous user account!

It does work for me! :mrgreen:

Hope this helps!

Re: Smartfeed 1.21 is now an official release

There were two minor changes applied by the phpBB Mod Team which are included in the archive on my site. Hello Mark, Since I've modified Smartfeed quite a lot, would it be possible for you to publish the code changes to apply the two minor modifications done by the phpBB Mod team to version 1.21? T...
