Re: Easiest way to deactivate multiple accounts

Good to know, I'll select the 'Newly registered users' group just in case.

Thanks.

Just one more question. If I run the utility for users with 0 messages registered before August 1st, will it deactivate the bots, anonymous, and admin accounts?

Easiest way to deactivate multiple accounts

I'd like to deactivate multiple accounts without having to go one by one (+100), so what's the easiest way for a condition where user has no messages and was registered more than 60 days ago?

Thanks.

View latest posts as posts not topics

In Quick links / New posts I'd like to see the results as posts not topics. I know there is an option in Advanced Search to show results as posts (&sr=posts) but there is no way that I know to show all the latest posts without any search keyword. I looked around the MCP and couldn't find anythin...

I can only see the last one and I'd like to see them all. Where is that option?

Re: Other users posting from this ip

Btw does phpbb record in a table the different IPs from where a user may log? I've seen the phpbb_sessions or something but it's almost empty. I'd like to know (or to code if needed) every time a user logs with a different IP from last time so it should go to the DB for later use by the admins. Mods?

Where is that option? I remember I saw that once but haven't seen it in a long time and don't know how to get there.

Re: Uppercase nicks to lowercase

the board already comes with a more reliable utf8_strtolower() . Much better. That's the kind of answer that really helps. Thanks. My question still remains: why not banning them when you ban others for less? Some are banned right away, some are innocent users who don't know the basic norms of neti...

Re: Uppercase nicks to lowercase

If you dont need this * signs to convert to a lower counterpart use always min. mb_strtolower() ** function, which preserve near all utf-8 letters That's the right answer. Thanks. Regarding CSS as suggested by other users, that's not an option, there are plenty of names with multiple words correctl...

Re: Uppercase nicks to lowercase

You're tampering the data and totally changing its information: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/lun is another request than https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LUN . And for your rest you're only affecting latin letters. GOOD LUCK WITH THIS TEXT. For the records I only lowercase whatever is outside bracket...

Re: Prevent new users from posting new topics and new messages with images

I went to the extensions forum and got overwhelmed by the mountain of information needed to change just a couple of lines. And no, the 'Hello world' example didn't help at all.

Isn't there an easier way to make an extension? Or at least an easier example with just a couple of files?

Re: "Hello World!" - Extension

Ok, here are some simple tasks I've coded I know will be overwritten with an upgrade and I'd like to know if I can write them as extensions or any other form. - Convert all uppercase subjects to lowercase (leave first upper only) - Automod: allow topic authors to delete messages posted in the last 2...
