Re: [3.2][RC] External Link In New Window

Thanks for your quick response, EA117!

I just downloaded and installed the other one and it worked (minus if the link has text):

Thanks again!

Re: [3.2][RC] External Link In New Window

Any new updates on this that are possibly not posted here? I tried both the GitHub and the one linked above and neither created a listing in the Extensions Manager on phpBB 3.2.5.

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.2.5 Release (Chmod Permissions)

Hello,

Hope this is the correct place to post this:

I noticed Chmod Permission Level info hasn't been updated in 2 years... is it still the same for 3.2.5?

TIA

Need Clarification on Webserver config & Apache 2.4

Hello, I need clarification on cache/, files/ and store/ folder permissions. I have two phpBB 3.1.11 versions, one with .htaccess files in the aforementioned 3 folders and one version (assuming later) without. I want to make sure I have them setup correctly now that I'm on Apache 2.4.25. The version...

Re: Parts of phpBB 3.1.x core not secure

Thanks for the replies. On the home index page where I noticed it there are no user images. It appears to be the breadcrumb images. Where can I find particulars on that?

P.S. My forums are so new that no one yet has linked images from the internet. What few there are have been uploaded to the site.

Parts of phpBB 3.1.x core not secure

Attackers might be able to see the images you’re looking at on this site and trick you by modifying them. Learn...

Thanks. So just let it overwrite my existing files? Is there a list of file differences?

Sure wish I would've known this before using one-click install. :(

Thanks for the replies. Is there a procedure to update the one-click install to the downloaded version? I have a child theme, a few core mods and half a dozen Extensions.

Install: cPanel/Softaculous vs File Upload

Hello, I have 2 instances of 3.1.10 running on the same hosted server. One instance was a migration that I had going since previous versions and with different hosts. The other instance was a recent new install via cPanel. I've been trying to install the phpBB3 SEO Sitemap Extension on the cPanel in...

Not sure where I read it but I re-uploaded the files and that did it! Can't thank you enough! :D

Now I just need to figure out why the Ext is working on my other forum and not this one... :?
