Mod

The Auto delete user mod is more along the lines except that never should anyone need to write a phone home mod for a BB - even if you can "deactivate" it. So looking for one a bit more "trustworthy". The other stuff (mass delete. etc.) is not an automated type of mod. I can do that just as quick wi...

Mod for inactive user spam bot

Is there someone that can write a quick mod that auto deletes a spam user account that doesn't register in say a few hours (or even time configurable in say the ACP) to help a bit with the new spam bots?

Spam bots

I do not want to (nor should I need to) install a mod to harden the system. The VC is being circumvented as it is, and that is something that needs to now be looked at by the DEV team and fixed/hardened there. :) If it is better in Olympus (or whatever next version is) then okay. If not, then some s...

can you check this out

Just to check, can you use phpmyadmin and see if you have a phpbb_concat table?

If it is there, it is suppose to be the phpbb_confirm table. You could have just renamed it to phpbb_confirm (no need to do it now as you already added the table anyways) and it would have worked also.

If you delete her account, her posts will remain unless you installed the mod to delete all of her posts also when deleting the user. The posts will show with her name and as a guest account if the mod is not installed. (of course always to be safe backup prior anyways) Also before trying the above ...

It's a web filter for a browser that certain settings can when responding to posts will submit the data (cause it changes the non allowed things) to something else. Also contrary to what above posted on not checking on what is turned "on" or "off" check to see if their HTML code setting is on or off...

When you look at his posts do they work okay?

And is there a post he makes on an open forum that one doesn't need to login/ergister so we can look at it.

And if you edit the file does the BBcode then work.

If it does work when you edit it, ask the user if they use something like Linux with privoxy.

apply it and it should work. If it has any issues just remove it. But you should upgrade your forum anyways to 2.0.16. Make a backup of all files needed anyways to always be on the safeside.

At the very least, learn to program in HTML and use frames.

And yes you can post recent topics, members, etc in web pages. There are free phpbbhacks/mods or you can program that yourself.

This is in all likelihood a browser setting issue, not a phpBB issue. If you got cookies enabled as stated above... Most secure way is add your site in IE options to your trusted sites. That will work for you. Other users will have to do the same thing for themsleves in their browser settings. Also ...
