not that I know, but this (for an admin or a mod) and the guest registration someone spoke of in the previous page would be great.

no idea if it would be complicated to add, though :(

Re: Slight glich in my setup

Hello, I must say that this is an excellent tool and the first time I used it, it met with a lot of praise. However, I tried to use it again this morning (second registration event) and encountered the following error. Could not store registration data DEBUG MODE SQL Error : 1064 You have an error ...

are you sure you added correctly the new columns to your database ?

the last column of your phpbb_topics table should be topic_reg, of type tinyint(1)

If i create a mod for doing this function, is it something that others would like if i post up the code? Thanks Graham the tables have "registration" in their names. but to remove the right rec...

This is not among the features.

even as admin, you do not have control on the registration event, other than editing the post and clearing the event.

Thanks for the quick answers :) I tried changing $template->assign_block_vars('birthdays',array()); if ( !empty($upcoming_birthdays) || $board_config['bday_show'] ) { $template->assign_block_vars('birthdays.upcoming',array()); } to $template->assign_block_vars('switch_user_logged_in.birthdays',array...

Marmotte - what's the URL to your board? my board's been modded to be totally private : as a guest, you only see the Register and Login links... and that seems to be my problem : the part of the index where the board stats and the birthdays are displayed was modified and put inside a "switch_user_l...

OK, I was really half asleep... made changes on one test forum and tested on another :oops: it worked but I found a cleaner place to put the changes: I moved the $reg_expired value assignment up to have it available for the reg_unregister array. ######################################################...

I just noticed something : when a registration event is locked (date is after the # of days it was possible to register), the "unregister" button remains active and unregistering works :(. I thought a quick fix like this would work, but it does not :cry: (quick draft) # open includes/regmod_viewtopi...

I think I found the SQL to complete the migration from a v1 RegMod to Event Registration v2.0.3 : an SQL query is needed to fill a new table that holds the registration details that were changeable only for the whole board before, so you have to add a record for each Registration Topic, with the ol...

Random thoughts :

- can the Registration expiration date be displayed somewhere ?
- can an inactive registration be displayed in a "grayed out" way or something ? or was the "activate" checkbox designed to completely hide the registration boxes ?

Thanks 8) I guess it was easier than I thought... Sometimes I dream I'm able to code a MOD uninstall script generator... That would be a good exercise for a Java beginner, no ? (Java coz what bothers be with all the dev tools I see around phpBB is that they are mostly Window$ only and I dumped Windo...
