We wrote an (can I use swear words in phpBB) ASP Content Management System for our Intranet which uses the phpBB Users database to authenticate (ODBC). So a combination Portal and CMS could be really useful, if that's what you are suggesting? We give different access and user rights to edit their ow...

Display posts from previous:

Is it possible put the "Display posts from previous: " at the top of the topic instead of at he bottom as you can already use the page..... for latest post order anyway? I know the answer, but I think it's not a bad idea generally for the funtionallity and I can't decide if it's for 2.2 or just a la...

The wife has offered to do a Turkish translation if needed, she's a graphic designer so she could do the buttons also.

I have CVS access.

It's already in there, the upgrade will convert you old phpbb. I have tested it with the unfinished upgrade script and it looks like it will work like a charm (I hope)

There are a lot of scipts in the develop directory, do you have to do any of the other scripts for a complete update of 1.4 posts and users?

I assume this will end up in the upgrade script, or the install doc.

OK, the db does get created.........and yes it doesn't populate the config.php, it worked fine 2 days ago, so there's certainly something gone t i t s-up.

Yep, same problem, with the upgrade also. Is it because the schemas have been moved to a different directory?

Search Function

I successfully upgraded from 1.4, I had to adjust the upgrade script slightly and do some manual stuff on the db (as I know the upgrade.php isn't finished yet!) The board works like a dream, apart from......... 1) The search function returns nothing unless it's from a new post after the upgrade. 2) ...

Thanks for the reassurance. I know you haven't finished yet but check the spelling of catagory/category in the script, I'm not sure if my original db was good anyway, but this is one of the easy fixes!! Thanks for all your hard work, I'll wait for the finished upgrade now I have a test environment. ...

Yes.........I played with the original install

I've been running phpbb 1.4 on our intranet and it works fantastically!!! However, yes you guessed it, I may have added the odd addon and hack here and there  I tried the upgrade script (and I'm aware it may not be completely finished yet) but will there be a way for me to insert my users, topi...
