Re: [BETA] The TRI FORCE (Username Color / User Level / ModCP)

You can put anything you've got in the admin panel into the modcp; in contrib you should find How to add new Modules which provides a general overview of making admin modules work in your modcp.

Re: [BETA] The TRI FORCE (User Class + Moderator CP)

You'll probably want an else if there not an if. It depends how you want to highlight the founder and whether that's important to your widget. Some scripts only consider the founder if they are an admin still... if ( $db_select['user_level'] == ADMIN ) {     $user_level = ( $db_select['user_id'] == ...

Re: [2.0.10] Moderator CP

I'm glad you got it all working okay. You can probably remove the following block since modcp does it's own permission check above. I believe this is where you made your extra edit?

Code: Select all

if( $userdata['user_level'] != ADMIN )
{
   message_die(GENERAL_MESSAGE, $lang['Not_Authorised']);
}

Re: [2.0.10] Moderator CP

Have a read through the How to add new modules file in the contrib section. This explains how to add new modules to modcp.

Re: [2.0.10] Moderator CP

Hi Keith,

I've seen this error before but I cannot remember what we did to fix it. Perhaps you can have a read back through this topic a bit and try some of what other people have tried. Unfortunately the dreaded Internal Server Error is very hard to diagnose/fix.

Re: [2.0.10] Moderator CP

Moderator CP is now 1.2.9.

2008/03/05 - Version 1.2.9 (Milkman)
  • admin/admin_modcp.php now checks and inserts $board_config['modcp_levels_used']
  • Removed SQL instruction from install file
Download from milk-hub.net.

Re: [2.0.10] Moderator CP

Hi forumatic,

Can you confirm which version of ModCP you have installed? When I look in the current version of the file the error you refer to should be happening around line 160 not 79. Perhaps you could download another copy and try that?

Re: [2.0.10] Moderator CP

Hmm, this is most strange. I'm glad you got it working in one board. I've never really tested it in a multi-board environment. Perhaps I have hardcoded a database entry somewhere, though I can't think where... :?:

Re: [2.0.10] Moderator CP

Shaykana, the only thing that comes to mind is did you run the SQL instruction for both boards? If not then you'll be missing an important config entry... remove all of your ModCP settings, run the SQL and re-add your ModCP settings. Hopefully this will fix it. INSERT INTO `phpbb_config` (config_nam...

Looks like you've not included the modcp functions file. Can you look in login.php and see what files it includes?

Re: [2.0.10] Moderator CP

You will need to edit the modcp/admin_users.php file to take into account the fact that some of the information is not being sent to the script. You might want to consider deleting blocks of code like the user activation (the first major if); the delete user code. After that the file should be much ...

I assume then that it is shared hosting; perhaps you could ask your host for some pointers to the logs. There is very little I can do to debug this without more information. Sorry.
