Re: [RC2] Smartfeed 3.0.3

Now the icon is shown with my installation as well. Thank you for your effort - even with this minor bug.

Re: [RC2] Smartfeed 3.0.3

Sorry, other projects have eaten my time. I now took the complete package from github to test it. The result is: - smilies are shown - the attachment icon is not shown The path to the attachment icon in the source of the feed is still /phpBB3/styles/<mysubstyle>/theme/images/icon_topic_attach.gif wh...

Re: [RC2] Smartfeed 3.0.3

You are very welcome. I really appreciate your quick replies and efforts to provide the Smartfeed extension to the community. With the code change I get no error but the attachment icon (the paper clip) is not shown in the feed next to the attachment. The resulting path in the source of the feed is ...

Re: [RC2] Smartfeed 3.0.3

Thank you for the quick reply. I applied the patch, so the selection of forums is now working smoothly. To find out about the other issue I tested my problematic feed URL with the w3c feed validator (https://validator.w3.org/feed/). The result was "Server returned HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Err...

Re: [RC2] Smartfeed 3.0.3

Ok, I start with the selection of forums: The forum id I force to be included on the admin panel is #17. Now, if I create a feed and select all forums (which is the default), there is no "f=" in the URL, as you wrote. All forums are included in the feed then. If I deselect all forums except #17 (che...

Re: [RC2] Smartfeed 3.0.3

I did further testing and after some tries I found the problem to be consisting of two separate issues. #1: When I configure Smartfeed to always include one forum, the feed obviously includes all forums, even if I deselect all other forums when generating the feed. This happens no matter which forum...

Re: [RC2] Smartfeed 3.0.3

Addition: Without being logged in, clicking the Smartfeed-Link leads to a page saying "SMARTFEED_NO_FORUMS_AVAILABLE".

Re: [RC2] Smartfeed 3.0.3

Great, thanks for that. I downloaded the latest package from github. Another issue I found is: When I select more than 14 days time limit for my feed (which presently is 68 posts in my forum) and HTML feed styling, I get an empty feed. 14 days or less is working fine. If I choose compact or basic as...

Re: [RC2] Smartfeed 3.0.3

Hi Mark, I installed 3.0.4 on my phpBB 3.1.8 which I just wanted to release into productivity. I noticed that on the normal forum list page there is "SMARTFEED_PAGE" shown in the menu bar where it should just show "Smartfeed". If I click on it I get to the smartfeed page - now, in the menu bar, "Sma...

Re: [RC2] Smartfeed 3.0.3

Hi Mark, thank you for keeping us up to date. Since I am still running my forum on phpBB 3.0 and the only point that is keeping me from upgrading to 3.1 is the Smartfeed plugin - what would you recommend? Were there any issues found during the review that would forbid - in your eyes - to start using...

Good point. The feed is there, but not displayed in Firefox. So as of now, everything seems to be running fine. Thanks again for your effort!

Re: [RC1] Smartfeed 3.0.2

Thank you for the quick reply. Before posting here, I had already tried repairing and analyzing the DB tables. There seemed to be no issues. I also had tested to restrict the maximum number of post in the feed as you suggest. The result was as I described - either an empty feed (no posts fitting my ...

Re: [RC1] Smartfeed 3.0.2

Hi Mark, great work so far. Thank you for your effort. We are running a phpBB 3.0 board for > 5 years using your Smartfeed MOD. Quite some of our users rely on it. Now we want to move to 3.1 and set up a test environment for that. Testing Smartfeed 3.0.2 RC 1 I am unable to get it running. Our forum...
