Re: New reCaptcha 2.0

Indeed, it does not seem to be any reCaptcha 2.0 mod developed for 3.0.x at the moment. :(

Re: New reCaptcha 2.0

create one good question that the answer can not be guessed or found in google and you will stop 99.9% of the spam problems. no multiple choice questions, no yes/no questions, no what color is" questions etc. Unfortunately I cannot do that as I am using phpbb in multilingual mode. And it's not only...

Re: [BETA] reCAPTCHA 2.0

Hello gothick,

Would it be possible to downgrade your extension to make it work in 3.0.x ?
It would be great to get the option to choose reCaptach2 below reCaptcha option (Installed CAPTCHA plugins) in the admin panel in the same way it works currently for reCaptcha...

Re: New reCaptcha 2.0

I also need a MOD for 3.0.x (not an extension as I have not migrated to 3.1.x). There is an extension developed here for 3.1: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=2295956 Anyone to apply the change to a mode in 3.1 ? I assume it could be based on the current reCaptcha mod. Thanks in advan...

Re: Accessing PHPBB via script on a sub-domain - import user

Indeed, thanks for the response. When I added the necessary variables as global, it worked. See the beginning of the code: function importPhpBB($user_detail) { define('IN_PHPBB',true); /* set scope for variables required later */ global $phpbb_root_path; global $phpEx; global $db; global $config; gl...

[FIXED] Accessing PHPBB via script on a sub-domain

Hello, I am trying to automatically insert users who register in another database, and to do so when I validate them on the website admin interface. NB: all websites are on the same server. Forum is on http://www.example.com/forums/ and my cms admin interface is on admin.example.com On the script I ...

Re: UCP Profile valid URL & specific domain

Hi, Just to let you know: I got inspired by your code to also implement a validation on social networking . The problem I found with your code is that the door was still open to a lot of possibilities and I wanted to restrain as much as possible to avoid spammers  . Everything is explained ...

Topic Category - Implementing categories for forum topics

Hello, We have a big forum with already forums and subforums. For all forums (and subforums) I would like to classify the topics with a category (those talking about meeting, those about accommodation...etc) with a select radio buttons box (optional) in the form when you create a new topic. I saw th...

Re: Create new forums using SQL

I probably forgot to say that when it creates the forums, it messes around things (they do not appear un the list, or in different order... can't remember exactly the problem as it was 2 months ago... but it did not work). Therefore I gave up and created manually the forums through the ACP.

Re: Prime Links

There is a problem with theme/prime_links/prime_links.css In order to have it included, you need to edit stylesheet.css and add: @import url("prime_links/prime_links.css"); In addition you can customize theme/prime_links/prime_links.css such as: .postlink { background-image:url({T_THEME_PATH}/prime_...

Re: The field “Location” is too long, a maximum of 0 charact

Well, I mean I installed also Profile Fields Control MOD. And as I did not see the profile field link to play the different options on the profile fields in the ACP of the AntiSpam MOD, it was "conflicting" with the fields I put mandatory via the other MOD in the registration screen... therefore the...
