Re: [3.2][BETA] Email Only Password Reset

Any chance of this being submitted for review and released? It sounds like a perfect piece of functionality (thank you). Most times when one of my users forgets their password, they also can't remember their username... and they never think to search the memberlist before filling out the contact for...

Re: [RC] mChat

I've updated to RC7, no issues to report. I also added the chat icons add-on, really nice work there - thanks!

Re: [BETA] s9e/mediaembed - Embed videos and third-party content without a single BBCode

I've installed the update, everything's running smoothly.

This seems pretty polished and stable, is there something holding it up from getting officially released?

Re: [RC] mChat

I figured it might be something that added a lot of complexity... no worries. And thank you again for all the work you've done on the extension to get it to where it is today.

Re: [RC] mChat

While I'm very happy with where mChat is now, I'd have to second the request for more than one instance or room. My site tends to be seasonal, and having a mod chat room separate from the primary user chat would be handy. I'd also like to add that RC5 has been running pretty smoothly - thanks again ...

Re: [DEV] Avatar Upload - Resize, visual trim

Wow, this is really fantastic! I wish there were extensions settings that would allow a site administrator to show/hide the following: Animate Selection Change BGOpacity Change BGColor Enable fading Use experimental shader And then also the X1,X2,Y1,Y2,W,H display. I completely understand the value ...

Re: [RC] mChat

What I'd meant was to check your site's permissions for that usergroup. I'm not logged into my board and don't recall the exact list of options offhand... you go into the ACP -> Permissions -> Group Permissions and then choose the group. Then click on the Advanced Permissions link (I think is what i...

Try checking the permissions for that usergroup?

Re: [RC] mChat

In place update performed on both my staging server installation and a production board I have that are both running 3.1.8. Disable extension, remove old folder, copy new folder into place, refresh customizations page and enable. Worked beautifully. Thank you so much for the update, especially catch...

Re: [RC] mChat

In the wishlist department... One thing I would wish for is a master on/off switch to disable chat. That would allow me to leave the site up, but leave chat unavailable to users until I had the chance to tinker with all the configuration options and permissions settings. Actually, there are two thin...

Re: [RC] mChat

I ran into the ACP_MCHAT_CONFIG issue on a test site, in that case it was totally my fault. I disabled the old extension and then deleted the directory on the server, and replaced it with the new version without deleting the data first. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get that error cleared out w...

Re: [RC] mChat

I agree with sakm. Double-check your setup, it's working as expected for me on a test-server running PHPBB 3.1.8.

Re: [RC] mChat

After disabling the old version, and deleting data on a board running 3.1.8, I installed the 2.0 RC3 release and it shows up in the list. However, when I go to Enable, it takes several seconds and then returns with a "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again." error. Going back to the ex...

Re: [BETA] External Link In New Window

Cool extension, and hooray for allowing the admin to set the default behavior. There is a solid minority of my users who would like to open external links in a new window by default, but in order to accommodate them I don't want to have to force everyone to open in new windows, then have the majorit...
