Re: [3.2][RC] Animated CSS Countdown BBCode Patch v1.0.1

You should update your original topic viewtopic.php?t=2628056 instead of creating a new one

Re: $this->request->variable return wrong form value

They are both already queried, in one single query (and cached if necessary). Storing them separately will not cause any a slower loadtime, but will increase readability and easier to change values but hand if necessary.

Re: $this->request->variable return wrong form value

So they are all seperate config items, that you are going to place in in array? That's really not how you should do it. You should create for each specific configuration item, a new value in the config table (And, if it might contain large text, in the config_text table.), and use seperate fields in...

Re: HTTP ERROR 500

Check if your mysql server is actually running. That error might be caused because mysql isn't properly started.

Re: $this->request->variable return wrong form value

Why are you using a array anyway? There are only very specific cases, like checkboxes, where you should use arrays. In other cases you should use in general unique names for your form fields.

Re: Retrieve config_text value

Using serializes/unserialize will cause your extension to be denied for security reasons. If necessary, you should use json_encode/decode instead.

And as Mark said, you should also not use get_super_global, but use $request->variable to get the POST data, with the correct type assigned as well.

Re: Query returns all values as string.

That's normal, php has no idea what the structure of the database is, and returns all values as a string. If required, you should cast the fields to the correct type yourself.

Re: Messed up Forum move to new domain

You should make sure the username, password and host is all correct for your new host. You have the right ones, as otherwise they won't work on the other script, but they need to match in config.php. After you edited config.php, remove everything except index.htm and .htacccess from the cache/ direc...

Re: Messed up Forum move to new domain

You will need to ask your host in that case what the correct hostname (And username/password) should be. It also might be listed in the control panel from your host.

Re: Messed up Forum move to new domain

In your config.php replace localhost with 127.0.0.1 or the other way around, and check if that works correctly.

This error is from mysql, and not from a missing file from phpBB.
