The pic above has a ✅ against memcached, is that back to front?
No, you are right, I did read it wrong.

That latest error is kinda weird in that case, as it detects the changed driver, but looks up the wrong extension. Can you try deleting everything from cache/ except index.htm and .htaccess?

I'm getting below error

General Error
Could not find required extension [memcache] for the ACM module phpbb\cache\driver\memcached.
Did you enable memcached in the control pane of your host? In the screenshot you posted earlier it is disabled.

Re: Upgrading to PHP 7.1 gives General Error

Try replacing memcache with memcached in your config.php

You will also need to enable that extension in your control.panel

Re: Table comments: Table './text/phpbb_posts' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed

As you already tried repairing and it failed the only thing that you can do is contacting your host and give them the errors you get, both the ones from your forum as well as the one you get when repairing.

Do not restore a backup, there should be no need for that at all.

Re: New Rank Graphics on phpBB-com - to wide .. ?

We missed a small change when we deployed the new ranks. Should be fixed soon.
Next time, please report it in the website tracker at http://tracker.phpbb.com as a random topic on the forums might get missed 😊

Re: How is google seeing pages that guests can't see?

Thanks. That was my problem. All the bots were Registered Users . Is that default behaviour or an artifact of my brief foray into SMF before migrating to phpBB? Probably a leftover from SMF. Bots shouldn't even have a user_id. They should have a user_id, but they are treated as special user

Re: Login Integration 3.2.X

Why not use the functions phpBB already provided to do stuff? Like this: <?php define('IN_PHPBB', true); $phpbb_root_path = './forum/'; $phpEx = substr(strrchr(__FILE__, '.'), 1); include($phpbb_root_path . 'common.' . $phpEx); // Start session management $user->session_begin(); $auth->acl($user->da...

If the vendor/ directory from both the old version as the new version is exactly the same, you didn't upload the vendor/ folder correctly for the new version with the phpBB 3.2.4 version of vendor/
