Re: New Rank Graphics on phpBB-com - to wide .. ?

We missed a small change when we deployed the new ranks. Should be fixed soon.
Next time, please report it in the website tracker at http://tracker.phpbb.com as a random topic on the forums might get missed 😊

For security reasons it is not possible to use HTML in posts within phpBB.

Re: How is google seeing pages that guests can't see?

Thanks. That was my problem. All the bots were Registered Users . Is that default behaviour or an artifact of my brief foray into SMF before migrating to phpBB? Probably a leftover from SMF. Bots shouldn't even have a user_id. They should have a user_id, but they are treated as special user

Re: Login Integration 3.2.X

Why not use the functions phpBB already provided to do stuff? Like this: <?php define('IN_PHPBB', true); $phpbb_root_path = './forum/'; $phpEx = substr(strrchr(__FILE__, '.'), 1); include($phpbb_root_path . 'common.' . $phpEx); // Start session management $user->session_begin(); $auth->acl($user->da...

Re: 3.2.2 to 3.2.4 Update: app.php returns http error 500

If the vendor/ directory from both the old version as the new version is exactly the same, you didn't upload the vendor/ folder correctly for the new version with the phpBB 3.2.4 version of vendor/

Re: How do you send emails from here?

We are just using php's mail function for sending mails from within phpBB. However, keep in mind that we fully control our servers, including the mail server used to send to email, so this might not work for your board/hosting combination.

I'd settle for just having the latter.
It's not my everyday choice, but sometimes I like them - together with an Amstel ;)
I prefer beer over Amstel or Heineken 😉

It's that time of year again. HO HO HO!
No it's not - not until December
Here in the states after Thanksgiving the Christmas decorations go up.
and here in the Netherlands they will go up after Sinterklaas, which is december 5th ;).
They will go live this weekend, probably Sunday.

downgrade the php version in your local enviornment. php 7.2.6 is not supported by phpbb I don't think.

better to be sure and go back at least to 7.1.x

robert
7.2 is perfectly supported by phpBB.

I may be one of the GitHub challenged. That said, I can't put it in the extension ... it's not allowed, so it has to exist somewhere. GitHub at least allows for versioning.
That is not true, you are allowed to have translations in your submitted extension, as long as it is a complete translation.
