This post relates to server configuration/operation and we do not support that, sorry
This means we don’t support server setup. I’ll move this to discussion.
It is not server Setup, this is development support. Moved to extension writers.

Re: Adding extra arguments to the url (mcp module)

It should be a method in your class, not a normal function :).

Also, if you are planning to submit your extension to the extension database, you should read the coding guidelines, as in its current form it won't be accepted.

Re: Fix wrong topic_first_post_id

If you merge a topic, or delete a post via the phpBB interface the function to handle the merge? If those function don't handle that correctly, then that is a bug and that should be reported (I haven't tested this, so not fully sure if there is a issue there).

Re: Fix wrong topic_first_post_id

The current purpose of the sync function does not include the sync of the topic_first_post_id. I have no idea if it should have, but I don't think so as it is a very specific case that the topic_first_post_id is wrong.

Re: Fix wrong topic_first_post_id

I don't know if it is a bug as I have no idea how the topics where merged (And especially because it might be old data it might simply be a wrong upgrade in the past). It will need further investigation to see why the orignal merge was done wrong. If you mean that the sync function is missing a feat...

Re: Fix wrong topic_first_post_id

That is a 6-year-old topic. The forum sync is supposed to fix all that problem. No, sync doesn't handle first post info (The method also has his last major change 6 years ago, which was for soft delete which came in 3.1); https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb/blob/1b110139888dbe5ba6338d348287e43bdc193c2a/...

Re: HTTPS / SID

Yes, because you have said cookie secure to yes your cookies are only valid for HTTPS and they won't work on HTTP. If cookies don't work, phpBB will fall back to using SIDs in the URL. So you or need to force HTTPS (Which is not a bad thing) or you need to live with having the SID in the URL.
