Re: Hide Subjects of closed forums in forumlist_body

So true @Brf :) But if I need to add "forumrow.FORUM_ID !=" every time it does not save much except it is a little more elegant and I don't need multiple ENDIFs

Re: Hide Subjects of closed forums in forumlist_body

Thank you! :) I cannot find any permissions that I could change any more, it may be a bug in the theme that is used though... Edit: so this works well, but only removes the subjects from the forumlist within the forum where the resp. subforums are direct children. From within the category or in the ...

Re: Hide Subjects of closed forums in forumlist_body

I believe so, the group has standard rights, all others members may only see forum and guests may not even see forum. Guests are fine, but members, as they can see forum (but not read contents) can see the "last topic" in the forum_list views. It looks to me as this is the way it is set as...

Hide Subjects of closed forums in forumlist_body

Users who are not members of a group to see a specific forum still can see the topic of the last thread in the forumlist. The forum should be seen as existant, but not give away such insight into contents to other members. How can I achieve that? I use phpBB 3.1, I suppose the specific theme is irre...

Re: [BETA] s9e/mediaembed - Embed videos and third-party content without a single BBCode

That is not quite the point. :) It works with or without .html The point is that URLs that a user posts with /transcript will produce an error forwarding them out of the forum. You cannot open the whole page in the forum anymore. So the ext needs to make sure that ted-urls with /transcript don't get...

Re: [BETA] s9e/mediaembed - Embed videos and third-party content without a single BBCode

I think I figured out what the problem is: the link was to the transcript of a talk, mediaembed tried to render it but the transcript could not be embedded. So the rendering needs to exclude any link with /transcript e.g. the one producing the above error: http://www.ted.com/talks/eli_pariser_beware...

Re: [BETA] s9e/mediaembed - Embed videos and third-party content without a single BBCode

Hi! I have a problem with embeds from "ted.com": if a ted-talk is included somewhere in a page by mediaembed, the user is instantly forwarded to the ted page and out of the forum. It seems ted breaks iframes as embed-method? However, if there is a way, it would be great if it could be fixe...

Re: [BETA] Active Notifications

Do you have any idea how long does it take to log you off? Same as: All ajax/active notifications empties auto-login cookie on my forum after few hours or few days. Without this extension auto-login cookie works fine. :? "few hours to a few days" It seems the longer someone has the forum-...

Re: [BETA] Favicon Notifications

My favicon is an SVG and the rel is "shortcut icon" - would it be difficult to make this work anyway?

Re: [BETA] Active Notifications

However - now my problem, wich is probably not related to my changes at all: when the extension is running while I am idle at the forum, after a while I get logged out . This happens all the time, but only after a long idle time. Still it breaks the extensions functionality because when logged out ...

Re: [BETA] Active Notifications

Here is the function I changed, everything else is as found on github.... function parse(response) { var unread = response.unread; var notifs = response.notifs; var output = ''; // Generate Unread-Badge (_ki) if (unread > 0) { $('#update_ki').html(function(n){ return "<a class='badge' title='Es...

Re: [BETA] Active Notifications

Hi! I adapted the ext to work with Comboot Bootstrap-Theme. Though that is not completely true, because only the update of the unread.toString() to the title worked at all and I added a little badge to show the unread notifications count to the forum with a link to reload page - instead of trying to...

Re: Need help with first simple extension, ucp option

The bug was as simple as I had expected. Everything was fine, the only thing I forgot was to make the include to the template conditional to follow the individual setting made in the ucp. crizz0 pointed that out to me and the ext worked instantly after that... :D
