3.2.2 to 3.2.3 not upgraded

I have run the update for my 3.2.2 board and it all showed as completed, however the admin still reports as running 3.2.2 and not 3.2.3

Re: The installer has detected a timeout, you may try to refresh the page, which may lead to data corruption. - Upgradin

Here we go, waiting for the Godaddy haters that will blame the host. There are enough complaints about people having problems with the flawed phpbb release and godaddy that surely now the people behind phpbb will attempt to fix it? Or will you just all continue to bury your heads in the sand and bla...

Re: Update gone wrong? - "The installer detected a timeout"

So you dont like the truth, you delete it. If you think what I put was wrong why didnt you answer it? Ill tell you, because you cant, you know what I put is true but you dont want people to know this because they will go elsewhere. Well as you said theres lots of issues with people using phpb...

Re: Update gone wrong? - "The installer detected a timeout"

I had exactly the same problem with the timeout. <snip> Inaccurate information deleted https://www.phpbb.com/community/images/ranks/team/community.png </snip> But my faith in phpbb has been severely dented and I dread the next 'update' so much Ill probably leave it until I have to change, then Ill l...

Re: phpBB CPU Problem (Can't solved about 3 years)

Well Im getting a similar problem and all you ever do at support is blame the host.
Clearly your software is the problem. Just admit you dont understand 100% how it works

Re: Host CPU hitting 100% when installing extensions

Through trial and error I have found out its not the extensions that are causing the host cpu to time out, its when I clear the cache through the ACP

Re: Host CPU hitting 100% when installing extensions

I gave the info:

My host is godaddy,
It does it whenever I install an extension (all of them)
3.1 was fine.

the initial response was:

Its your host

Re: Host CPU hitting 100% when installing extensions

But it NEVER did this before I installed 3.2 Its too easy just to blame the host, but clearly its not just them. I must say I find 'support' on here appalling. Everytime someone has an issue you always look to try and blame someone else first. Let look at the facts: I had phpbb 3.1 running fine on m...

Host CPU hitting 100% when installing extensions

My host (godaddy shared hosting) cpu is spiking at 100% whenever I install an extension and clear the cache. Never did this on 3.1 It actually causes my forum to not show and flag an error about resources. Only way to quickly clear it is to change php version. This resets the CPU usage. It will come...

Re: Board Emails do not work after update to 3.2

Ive just changed the setting 'Use SMTP server for email: Select “Yes” if you want or have to send email via a named server instead of the local mail function.'
i set it to NO and it is now working

Why is this and is this the correct setting?
