Re: Under Age Users

By the way, that option is the built in COPPA setting but the default for that is 18. You can be covered with your T&C page. Re: Under Age Users

Don't know if it's possible here, but maybe phone number/text activation? It wouldn't stop everyone, but maybe cut it by some? Could be done but you would need an extension. However I doubt that will stop many as in my experience most under 13s have their own phone. As I have said before there is n...

I have no idea why that was the default, but yay. I solved it. :P Now I just have to fig...

They weren't in the group, that was the problem.

Re: How To Allow New Users To Post Without Moderator Approval

So the only solution I can come up with for this problem is to somehow remove Global Moderator Positions from all users, anyone have any idea how I would do that?

Re: How To Allow New Users To Post Without Moderator Approval

3.1.9 I set this all up by first converting from bbpress to SMF, than to phpbb3.0, than updating to this, so no surprise that everything is a little wonky to start. I also figured out why that the user can approve topics. All users seem to have Global Moderator Permissions(Normal User and No admin p...

How To Allow New Users To Post Without Moderator Approval

All the topics I've found for this seem to be for older versions, where there was an option in the group permissions, how can it be accomplished now? Well this is just weird, on a second note, a second user account I have for testing purposes is able to view and approve new topics, the accounts only...
