Re: Posts won't mark as read (cashing problem?)

It's server configuration, it's identifying itself as ATS.

https://trafficserver.apache.org/

It's unlikely anybody would have answer here because it's very specific server software and even then you would likely need root access. Contact your host.

Re: Posts won't mark as read (cashing problem?)

It would appear the server is setting it's own cache values and the pages are being cached by browser.

Re: Posts won't mark as read (cashing problem?)

My provider claims that the caching for my hosting is turned off. :roll: There is possibility it's being cached elsewhere like your ISP but the headers should prevent that and be respected by any public cache. Do you have different users on different ISP's experiencing same issue? Another possibili...

Re: Search engine options - customization

In particular I've noticed there's a setting that allows to switch templates, so I need to know if it's really important to set different templates (where active) for all the search engine (i mean: if the web-site indexing process is different in each template). Bots use the default template and si...

Do you or your host have Cloudflare enabled?
If you are using Cloudlfare you would need to specifically create rule to cache .php pages. By default they only cache static content with specific extensions; .css, .js, .jpg etc.

I wonder what the computing world would have been like if IBM had continued with developing the OS for PCs and Microsoft had never been born = although on the other hand IBM never really had a good track record. I would offer the opinion that Microsoft had the right software at the right moment in ...

Re: A History Lesson

Windows XP was a good operating system and so was Windows 7. It's unfortunate that microsoft has ended support and updates for both, especially Windows 7, as it was a stable OS with nice features, like windows areo. If I understand correctly those problems should go away with Win10 because there wi...

Re: Adding a stock ticker using extension module or style?

If you open overall_header.html in templates folder this should work at end of file:

Code: Select all

<!-- IF FORUM_ID == 123 -->
// Your HTML/javascript for stock ticker.
<!-- ENDIF -->
123 needs to be the id of the forum.
