seperating forums in index

in my forum i have no categories and i dont want categories. i just have about 11 links [forum links]. i want to divide them so they look like there are 11 categories. that ie, each link independant from the other.

drathbun, I am planning that for phpBB3 or later versions if it is delayed. At the moment, it doesn't cache. IMHO, one query doesn't affect much in many hosting nowadays anyways, so it wouldn't be a problem.

I saw sites using this. I want a MOD that hides text and it is only visible to users if they reply to that thread. I tried the Hide MOD but that only asks the user to click and shows the message without replying. Where do I get this MOD?
